Women are safe drivers than men

Women never forget to put the seatbelt on before and while driving. They may drive beyond the speed limit but then they make sure that will never cause an accident on the road. They are good traffic abiders as well. Ok, sometimes men made fun of lady drivers because of 'unusual breaks' but that is how she protects herself from other careless drivers. This is my observation. What about you?

I do not believe it has anything to do with gender, some people are just more safe than others. Men tend to "suffer" more from road rage as it is a power play of being "king of the road", however I have witnessed women behaving the same. Women tend to text message more often than men while driving and even show signs of irritation when caught by other drivers. These are things I have personally witnessed. Safe driving is a personal behavior and not a gender bahavior.

Thank you MJ_Dakota. Maybe you are right, driving is a personal behavior. No matter what the gender is, we should realize the seriousness of driving on the road keeping in mind that we can all reach our destination safely if we know how to respect people on the road, be it male or female.

Yes, respect for other drivers on the road will make the roads safer. Awareness too.

Driving skills vary from person to person depending on several factors, not just gender

Haha, I think many women have a habit to lead up, which happens most when shopping. It always be women who crowed to struggle for the sale products. Men will not so crazy as women on this. So when driving, whomen are more preemption when parking, jumping the queue etc. Sometimes they only drive on their own, change driveway freely but won't pay attention to other cars around them, which is very dangerous.

yes... that is what I think too. But maybe it is because male drivers are more reckless and wants the feeling of exhilaration when they drive very fast. That is what I think, but I don't know about you. What do you think?
