i'm just wondering how can a topic here in mylot be that interesting for someone to read and receive a good response? i was reading some topics and responses today. Some are really good and honestly, a lot are not. But surprisingly a lot of nonsense topics that i consider received more responses than interesting ones!. Any criterias my friends that you consider on a certain post before you reply or just give a simple yes or no response for the sake of earning?

drakesuyat I think a lot of us are guilty of reading the title and saying oh thats not interesting and just blithely going on that way until one grabs our attention. read the whole thing before just discarding it. I think really considering how many discussions are on here most of us do a really great job of posting discussions. sure you cannot please everybody no matter how hard you try, but there are plenty of interesting discussions but you have to read through them at least a few lines. also consider that not everyone likes the same thing so that what to you sounds even dopey might sound really interesting to someone else. for me it has to have substance for me to be interested in it, I do not like whats your favorite flavor of ice cream or your f avorite color or dress or book or what not, thats just a question that doesnt invite any discussion at all. how about why do you think so many like the color blue? at least that asks for a bit of thought. I do not like discussions that only ask for a yhes or no at all.

yeah you're right. we are different people of different types. i like that line on your response about the ice cream flavor and the color . it answers all my confusions. with regards to the title, i must admit that sometimes i got turned off responding to a certain topic just by reading on the title alone. anyway, i'll try to be kind next time, i'l give it a shot.

Sometimes the "empty headed" topics can be covered quickly without too much thought, whereas the "deep thought" ones often take a long time to read and reply to.
I guess another reason is that people come here to excape the world of wars, political conflict etc ...
No, scrap that. It's because a lot of people here only log on to earn, not to discuss. So they can't be arsed with all that "use da brain cells" nonsense. Me, I come here cos it's fun to escape from work and have a bit of fun!

HI,
well... sometime they know that person and in order to get more pay here... that's how they do that... but some we will not do that at all, try not to get caught.
I see some topic get more interesting cuz of it was general topic, or relate to personal life. See... now your topic is top of the day and it seem to be interesting to everyone here

hello drake,
that's already been part of being part of being here at mylot and having conflicts and disputes among members had been already part of being in this site. at least no swearing or saying of bad words here, you know my entire account got deleted simply because of these bad words in the discussion.
Get used to it, actually before it was a lot worse than recent arguments and debates. it's not that worse anymore. but if it emerges again, it would likely disappear bec. of the admin.

Hi! I have not been on myLot for some time now, but recently I decided to return. Indeed, myLot was never an effective earning option for me. However I feel pleased to share my opinion, give advice when needed, or ask for advice, if I'm interested in.
So I choose topics to answer thoroughly and the tons of nonsense discussions make me rather upset, because I don't have so much time to read all this through to find couple of really interesting discussions that are relevant to my interests to participate in.
Jolly myLotting!

I just started mylot yesterday and I find this a bit frustrating. Though a initially came to this site because of the earning potential I find that I am unable to respond to nonsense for a penny or too. I enjoy a topic that allows me to learn about the people we share this planet with, ones that are informative and thought provoking. I will say that for a forum site I do like the way this one is set up, but I believe that paying people to participate will will lower the caliber of posts.
