Hey mylotters. A simple question to ask all. I'm doing this as a part of my research regarding sports and people. My favourite sports would have to be basketball, soccer, tennis and tabble tennis. When ever I play these sports, I feel relaxed and happy. This also helps me release stress whenever something bad happens to me. That's why I'm curious. So, what is/are your favourite sport(s)? Do they help you in life?

My favourite sports are soccer, basketball and table tennis. Soccer and basketball, i like but i don't play tremendously well (just good enough) however i am really good in table tennis and play vigourisly. I believe, this is also true, that sports is a method of exercice, which everyone needs in life. Especially in my case, since i spend quite a lot of time on my pc, i don't really exercise a lot. Anyway sports is healthy, and keeps you fit which is a vital thing to do in life.

I love sports my favorites to play are Basketball and Soccer, I grew up playing both and they do help me in life as far as having fun, making new friends and saying active. I don't play nearly as much as I use too when I was in high school and earlier than that but I still enjoy them. I have other favorite sports as well that I love to watch that I am not good at playing but still enjoy. Sports are a great way to relieve stress if you ask me, especially if your enjoying yourself and it's exercise too. Any exercise keeps your body in shape and your heart working which would make anybody's doctor happy lol Just thinking of this discussion makes me want to go outside and play Soccer or Basketball, if only I had a soccer net or a basketball hoop lol, oh and it's 4:36am lol

You have some really valid points which are really nice to listen to, especially when you mentioned the having fun and releasing stress at the same time! Very very true, and if you ask me playing at that time would concern me a little, but if you are having a bad day, dude, that's the write thing to do! Cheers to that!

That's nice. Yes, swimming is defenetly refreshing in summer, but in winer, erm.. not a really good idea because, in my case, by the time I get out of the water and reach for my towel I would be freezing cold which is something I hate. You never swim in fresh water mate, if it's in a pool there are always chemicals in it to kill bacteria, such as chloring, if it's in the sea than that's defenetly not fresh and always try not to swallow sea water.

My favourite sports would have to be number 1 soccer, because it allows me to as you said relax myself enjoy time out and act like a teenager. More importantly i love soccer because it allows me to be creative and innovative in the way I choose to dribble, tackel and score goals. It improves my creativity , my awarness, concentration and also my physical self in terms of speed and fitness. Secondly I love table tennis beacuase it is a very fast paced game where you have to be aware abd precise and you cant make any mistakes or else you're toast. It firstly allows me to have lots of fun and enjoymeny and also once again helps me both physically and mentally. It also allows me to come up with new techniques and 'ways' in which i think of how to defeat my opponent

Soccer and tabble tennis, very nice sports. I like how you mentioned the things in a sport that you need to tackel, such as precision, speed and fitness. These things are very crucial to keep in your self when you practice any sport. What I totally agree with you is that It is very true and very good that you don't just take a sport as an excercise or activity, you have fun and enjoy doing it and improves your weak points, just as you said, physcially and mentally. The good things for me about sport is that it increases my fitness, state of mind and reaction time to do things.

I personally find Rock Climbing, be it sport or bouldering, very enjoyable and it definitely works your arms, some legs, and your mind. I also like to kayak, which i just recently got it, lots of torso strength and when you get a great workout. Nothing like running over huge holes and wave trains and getting soaked in the process. It takes skill as well and you can take the sport as far as you want, from simple class 2 whitewater to class "6" 20ft waterfalls. Of course most of that is summer sports. For winter i like to ski, go snowshoeing, etc... Of course mountain biking is still my favorite.

I love soccer so much. I like to watch it, and I like to play it myself. Even if it's just a few friends kicking around a soccer ball, it doesn't have to be an organized formal game, can be great. I've been playing soccer ever since I was 6, and played rep for most of my teenage years. My favorite position is left midfield, because you get the best of both worlds, defense and forward, I love it! I just get this adrenaline rush from running up the field with that ball. This game has benefited my life as it keeps my active physically and happy mentally. It also lets you meet new people through it, and build team working skills!

My favourite sports are paintball and football. Both sports are fastpaced and rely on instict. A lot of people think paintball is painfull, but as long as you have enough layers on you rarly feel anything.
