Mention at least 2 . I think it's most likely related to locomotion.

Cilia are used for transportation and locomotion and the second is for trapping dirt from entering into our system. So far that's what i know about cilia.

A cilia is a small whip like projection on a cell, and its primary function is as you said is for locomotion. THeir second purpose is to act as sensors for the cell!

The most obvious is, indeed related to locomotion, but I think the Ciliatae also use the cilia for capturing either the prey, either the nutriments from the environment.

Hi, The cilia I think also is a sense organ. It helps in sensing any obstacle during locomotion and thereby change its path.

Aboslutely you are right. Its main use is to help those bacteria or microorganism to move. Without it those microorganism can never move to a place it want and only floats here and there passively. It is a adaptation.

nt only for locomotion but the microvili present in the gastric epithelium in our stomach do have the action cilia beating towards the mucosal cells and helping them to capture the harmful bacteria and leading them into MALT where the bacteria gets deigested out by the action of B and T lymphocytes. This is the process of mucosal mediated immunity.
