Hey guys. I was just thinking of the hours I spend online. And came to the thought that I spend a good chunk of my time just surfing around.
Well, if the internet closed down today, for however long, what would you miss the most?
I'd probably miss A LOT...cuz well I'd miss Google, Wikipedia, my university email, Hotmail, PTC sites, Paypal money and oh wow so much more.
What about you?

If the internet were to suddenly shut down tonight, I think I would miss Mylot, Facebook, my email account, my homework, and a bunch of other sites that I surf on daily. I would miss a lot of different sites because there's so many endless things that you can do on the internet. I too, have been thinking about how much time I spend each day on the internet and what if internet were to just stop and never come back. I would probably be overwhelmed with boredom because I keep myself entertained by going online. I barely watch tv anymore because I find more enjoyment when I am on the computer surfing the web. If internet were to completely go away, I don't think I'd know what else to do except watch tv and read books.

Yeah, I think the Internet has just surpassed the TV as a means of communication...

If you asked this question a year ago, I can say I may miss out a lot. Today, I feel even if the internet is down for a week, I can still live my day. I do not depend on the internet for a living. Neither do I depend on the internet for leisure. So I know I will not miss anything. In fact, I will save a lot!

if the internet shuts down right now, i'd most probably miss facebook. the ease of connecting with my friends is the main reason i tuck to facebook. then comes the friends from all over the world that i got to know from facebook. i had added them for game purposes but as the days go by, we get to know each other better. now we are like fb-pals where we'd post our happiness or sorrow on facebook and the rest will just appear to show support. it's really heart warming to know that someone so far away, never seen me or heard me, cares about me.

yes like many i too will miss hotmail of course as i can't check mails. but what i would miss the most would be mangas that i read, and animes and dramas that i watch online. that is how i usually spend my free time. in fact, being on holiday for 3 months really wore me as i couldn't use the internet at all. that was tough. because of this, it has made me realise what a really big impact the internet has on my life. i hope nothing like that ever happens.

My Lot would definitely be at the top of the list! There would be other things that I would miss obviously but nothing compares to My Lot. I dread the day that this ever takes place, hopefully it won't! I do quite a lot of different things online and it certainly would cause a huge gap to appear in my life! I would get on with doing other things obviously but I would anxiously await the time that we were all connected once again! The Internet is a must now and I just cannot live without it! Andrew

Well, I am super busy right now doing important office work for accreditation's visit in our school next year and I would be very disgruntled if the internet will shut down right now since I am sending important documents to our faculty and internet is very much in use in my life right now.

The first few sites that I will be missing are facebook, yahoo, paypal and so much more. I have so many things I love to go to on the internet and would love to keep it going for as long as I live. We all have to agree the internet has given everybody opportunities to chat with their loved ones or even just email each other while they are apart.

I would definitely miss my paypal money and mylot. Other than that I would miss the movies that I download everyday. I also play games online and I would not be able to play with my friends. I stay online all the time, even when I am not in front of my computer. So, I will miss it a lot if it is not there.

The internet is very important. If something happened to it completely then the entire world would shut down. People depend on it for everything and it is responsible for a whole lot. I don't think I would miss very much, but I would probably go stir crazy because everything I need to survive depends on eletronic fonds, and such that require the internet to send such things. I don't know what else I would do. I wouldn't be able to live literly I'd be to busy trying to survive to worry about "missing it". Having no internet connection for any length of time is one thing, but for the entire network to colapse.... that's different.
