If you don't want anyone to know....

I know where all the bodies are buried...but no one knows that I know because I can keep a secret. I don't, however, trust anyone enough to tell them where I've buried mine.

Absolutely agree. If you have things, details, situations etc that you don't want anyone or even just one someone to know about then keep in under your hat. I hate it when people air their dirty laundry to people or in a public forum and then get angry if they find out people have been discussing in or that a certain person got wind. If there's something that you don't want people to know about then keep it to yourself, period. I have made the mistake in the past of sharing details with people and then having to deal with those details being made public. Now I let secrets stay just that - secret.

If there's one thing that people LOVE to do, it's gossip. Sometimes I think the world is more driven by gossip than anything else. Therefore, if something is important to me, I keep it to myself. No exceptions...well, maybe I tell my dog. If she broadcasts it to all the other dogs in the neighborhood, at least I don't know about it.

It is true that if you do not want to know, then do not tell it to anybody to prevent unwanted circumstances and regrets in life. I do share my secrets to my trusted friends or family by selection only. I also keep a part of some not to share as part of my privacy.. But, there is only one who knows my secrets though I do not share it and It is in him that I am rest assured my secrets are safe and it is only GOD.. Sharing secrets is a matter of choice preferences and either good or bad effects, still It was a decision rendered.

I do tell my secrets to my very close friends and till now they have not betrayed me.:)

I been betrayed by my friends before but thats normal I am in high school. I usually tell them small secrets because I can't keep my mouth shut and the deep dark secrete I keep it all to myself
