What is your effective way to lose weight?

My way and my only way that I have tried and worked is to walk, long walk. In the year of 2005 or 2006, in summer, I used to walk from my work to the business center to have my dinner every day. It took about 40 minutes. After each full meal, I began to walk again to digest. Again, I walked around 25 minutes to the bus stop and then rode bus home. In this way, I did not sacrifice delicacies and lost weight in the meantime without a pill or any expenses to exercises. The only way to realize my goal is to walk every day. Now, I am planning to start this scheme again. Yesterday, I shopped for hours and this is a very good exercise in the department store and supermarket.

It is good... but everyone have not this schedule ... cause of time... for mine .. i a, little fatty... because i have not enough time to walk... but when i get free time ... i always walk for shopping... not used vehicles. but it is not possible for me for everyday.... but I avoid fast food which are the reason.. of fat... and weight increasing.... If we control on over diet then we can control our weight too...

you have a nice and cheap way of losing weight and i admire it, to add up, eat small amount of low G.I. carbs. 6 times a day to facilitate more your weight lose...

I tried walking a ton, I walk about 2 hours 3 days a week and do cardio. But until I started eating a specialized diet I could not lose a pound at all. Now I have been on my diet and weight loss plan since November 28th and I have already lost 10# I am super excited and very happy with the results so far! Good luck with your work.

Hi magic9! Regular exercise is a good way to lose weight. Of course, a balanced diet will also help. Sometimes, losing weight is easy but what is difficult is maintaining it. Walking is a good form of exercise too!

You might want to check out the hibernation diet - eat honey and sleep. Sounds ridiculous until you read the scientific explanation behind the theory. Just like you I used to walk. For me walking is the best exercise. I don't have to starve myself and refrain from eating my favorite foods. I eat any amount of food and drink tea after every meal. And that's it I maintain my body.

walking is a great way to lose weight. however if you are looking to dropping the weight faster, then you also need to work out. 20 minutes a day of cardo and weight training will not only help you drop the pounds but tone up your body at the same time. not to mention that you must change the stuff you eat. lot's of fresh fruits and veggies

I just quite eating all foods that contain sugar. That means eating just the main course of a meal and never having dessert. I got used to it and lost all my excess weight. Now I never even miss eating sugar-based food. - Derek

It doesn't matter which diet you use or what exercise the fact is weight loss depends on calories in versus calories out. There are some illnesses that cause weight loss or gain, but if you are healthy you are subject to this basic fact. Glad walking is working for you.

I don't have anyway to lose weight because I don't have problem about it. I regularly doing push up exercise in the morning to stretch some of the nerve in my body but this is not due to lose weight... Yes, I do agree that walking and walking is a good exercise, my friend. Most especially for those reaching the age of 40 up...

losing weight? it's really a common topic to the female. in fact, i never make a strong decision to lost weight, cause i think i'm not too fat or too thin. but now, after careful thought, i think i need to lose some fat. to eat less, and run more, that's the most healthy and reliable way, i think.

I try to exercise everyday and I keep track of the calories that I have eaten that day. I am disabled and can't go for walks, but that is a good form of exercise if you live in an area that has pretty nice weather. Keeping track of calories helps me because I don't eat anything I wouldn't want to write down or if I'm not sure how many calories it has in it.

Going on a diet and taking exercise.Last year, i was always have a full meal at supper,and then do little work, then go to bed directly.At first, i don't pay attention to my weight, till one day i standing on the scale,oh my god, i added 10 pounds within a month.At this time, i know i should do something to prevent the growing.So i eat little especially at night, then have a walk before go to bed, during the day time,I go to work place by bicycle instead of take bus.And my weight is much lighter than before.

Dear friend, I usually eat and work it out through exercises, moreover at times I would take care of what food I have too if I feel I am getting to tired. I hope if one could control or know one's own body well it would be much better for an healthy life provided eating and doing the right things. May be as everyone body differs hence each individual ways of health habits or way to lose weight also differs.

that is nice that you are able to exercise and walk around in malls. but i have no more time to do that. i used to do that before. and i don't get fat cause i avoid eating cause i put more time in walking around the malls and window shopping.

I have a very effective way losing weight right now together with my wife. Since our kids are engage in Taekwondo, training is very essential so that our kids are prepared all the time for sparring and tournaments. In this, we think that this is a good way to exercise and lose weight plus have some quality time with our kids. Right now me. my wife and our kids are now engage in Taekwondo training everyday well except Sundays and our kid's exam days. 1 to 2 hours practice of Taekwondo everyday help me and my wife trim our bodies with our kids. Taekwondo help me and family a lot especially lose our weight and gives us quality time together. We must always look over our body especially our health and weight from time to time. Don't forget to also have a good healthy diet.

outdoor exercise. i used to dance a lot to shape my body before but that's a team work and one single person would be hardly to keep on dance a long time so i choose to do outdoor exercise to keep slim and lose the extra weight what i gained sit front the computer all day along.

Congratulations for taking the first step in managing your weight, and you did that by walking.What worked for me is following Atkin's modified diet, no rice or carbo for the first two weeks. It was really hard at first, but later on, I noticed that my clothes were getting lose. I lost five pounds. I thought I would miss the carbo, but later on I can eat without thinking of carbo..

well I don't work out, but I take care of my three kids so that's a hand full. I tried to work out, but I get bored of it, I don't weigh much but I have been gaining a bit of weight lately. pretty much sitting in front of the tv or playing video games or on the computer most of the time, and taking care of the kids. I don't like to be sore when I work out, and I know it passes but I still hate it.
