Getting up early in the morning

Most people work early so it means that they wake up early, just in my case which I need to work everyday. The problem is its not easy to wake up in the morning, it seems that I want to sleep more. Although there came a time that I was used to getting up without the hassles of convincing myself of my day ahead. Do you feel the same way? do think sometimes that we just don't need to get out of bed that early? what would be the most convenient time for you to really rise from your sleep?

Getting up early is my favorite thing. :) I usually getup by 6 and immediately take bath to feel the freshness then I will go to wash my car. :) This is the best thing I like to do everyday. But things will change when you have work at night or work at office. If I cant sleep early, I cant getup early.
But If I practice getting up early at 6 everyday for more than 5 days, I will not get any sleep after 6 on the 6th day.. :) I am not sure if that is what everybody else feel.
Early morning walking near my native (Sagar, Karnataka, India) is one thing which I like very much. The area is like a hill station and you feel so good to walk there.
One more thing which I like to do early morning after the bath is to do some yoga. Then the Shavasana to sleep after the yoga. Sleeping at that point of time is like heaven for me. :)

HI mstriguna: Well congratulations it seems that you have a nice scheduled and yes, i think as you do that when you got up early and take a bath you will feel fine for the rest of the day because you will have a clear mind and you usually will not feel the pressure of your daily responsabilities. I have to wake up early from monday to friday, so that will be 5 days a week, i wake up late on saturdays and then on sundays i have to wake up at 7 o'clock to go to work. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

Well, it would be really convenient for me if I could wake up really late but, that won't happen since my work is far from my place so I have to allocate some time for travel.
I really feel that I want to sleep more, especially when I have to do things on that day. But, when its a weekend or a day that I don't really need to do anything like work, I tend to still wake up early. Its really annoying since I know that I could get more sleep but, oddly enough I wake up early, even earlier, than usual. (-_-")

That is right, one factor of waking up early is because we need to travel from home to work, especially when it is far from our place. We need to alot more time just to fix oursleves and do the necessary things before going to work. particularly with working moms that they need to attend to their kids need beforehand.

Yeah, those things would influence on what time we should wake up as we don't really just wake up and go straight to where we need to be.
That's why it would be really nice if one would be working close by and they could easily catch a lot of sleep to get enough energy to do the following work the next day.
Its really unfortunate that most people are so late, they couldn't even eat breakfast before they head to work..

I know it is not easy to get up early, especially in the cold winter morning. But whenever I think about my family, then I will wake up early. Because I want to make delicious breakfast for them because it is one of the most important meals in a day.
I love China

Great, we share the same feeling everyday, I always alarm but when it rangs, no more I just want to continue to sleep. If you can have another minute why wake up, unless it is really important to get out of the bed that early of the day.

I used to be a morning person during bar review. I love waking up early, it makes me feel so refreshed. However, am forced to abandon this lifestyle when I started working. You see, my work starts at 2pm and ends at 10pm. The travel time back home takes almost an hour, plus I have to relax and do my nightly rituals before going to sleep. I sleep at almost 2am and consequently wakes up at 9 or 10am. I no longer feel refreshed when I wake up. In fact, I still feel tired. I guess the late morning sunshine doesn't agree with me. :-(

Wow nice lifestyle, I wish I could have such kind of lifestyle for myself. At least if your in that particular working time, it wouldnt be a hassle, but I guess most of the time the schedules in work don't last forever, sooner or later they rotate schedules. At least thats what I heard in different companies.

I strongly agree with you. Waking up very early in the morning is really very difficult to do especially that I am used to waking up late in the morning. My work is night time so there's eventually no reason for me to wake up so early. I am just worried that if I can find another job, I may have encounter a problem on tardiness. I just cannot explain why I always feel very weak and tired everytime I try to wake up early. I am hoping that when the time comes that I need to wake up early, I will be able to adjust my biological clock.

I like to wake up around 7am and go to bed around 10pm. This generally will allow me to be the most calm and productive. The problem is that I usually work until 9 or 10 pm, so I don't want to go to bed right when I get home. The next day I will sleep until 10 and then feel sleepy all day.

Hi attyjd centeno: Off course it's not easy to wake up early in the morning. In my case I need that my mom calls me so i can do this. Thanks God I used to wake up at the first call even if i don't like it. But now, well, i am on vacations so i wake up after 10 am just because i think i deserve to have this special permition. I think that when you have on your mind an idea of what you want to do for the rest of the day you wake uo at the hour required, it's all about responsabilities but it's not so bad that we sometimes give ourselves a permition. Lol. XD. Thanks for makin this question. Have a nice day.

this is a topic on which i would just love to go on and on.i am a student and i have classes from 8.40am to 12 noon everyday except sunday(of course)which means i have to get up around 7am so that i could have my shower, breakfast and still reach on time for school.yes,i would have loved to have more time to sleep in the mornings, yes but i also understand that if i do not slog now i would have a hard time later on in the future.this doesnt mean i do not crib about the timings of my school, not at all but truth is the day i miss my classes i really do feel guilty, not to mention the splitting headache that i get later on.getting up early is not that bad, folks.you do get plenty of time to plan out your whole day, have as much as possible under control.and you get a dreamless sleep at night.

I generally find that if it's before about 10am it is way too early to be getting out of bed. Especially when it is Winter and the mornings are cold and dark. I enjoy my day off when I can wake up without the alarm clock and rise out of bed slowly so that I can wake up properly. Every other day I seem to be up at the last minute which really isn't helpful at all.

Thanks for the response. Well I agree, though in our country we don't really have winter but usually the sun does not set that early even let's say in 6am where the sun still is not awake. I am pretty sure during winter times in your place, it is most difficult to wake up, especially that it is comforting to sleep more when it is very cold.

I would love to sleep in if I could. I have to be up by 5 a.m., Monday through Friday, due to the 45 minute commute to my work. I have to be at work by 7:30 a.m., I'm a nurse.
For some reason, I consider sleeping in to be 7 a.m. on weekends. If I sleep more than that, I tend to feel like I'm wasting my day. I actually do enjoy getting up early. I love the quiet time, before my Dashund and husband get up. Yes, my Dashund loves to sleep in! She hates getting up before 9 a.m.! Maybe I need to take some tips from her.

It would be more convenient if I can wake up at about 8AM. I can't wait earlier. I just don't want to sleep too early to fix my bed time. I love nights because I can spend my time alone as I wish only at nights. So I can't adapt with now-a-days working hours.
