Oh, another Holiday approaching, and my family is unfortunatly at odds again. It's frustrating when a close family member doesn't get along with another. It makes for quite an interesting Christmas dinner, that is if they both show! Oh, why can't we all just put irrelevant disagreements behind us for the sake of the holiday, more importantly, for the sake of family? Are you ever faced with this dilemna? I

Well I think that seems to be a common problem with families, especially when petty issues arises from one another. Well for me for as long as I won't dwell or be joining with one party against the other that would be fine of course. I would try to be as diplomatic with both sides as they are my family. I think standing neutral may sometimes be even harder than siding with one party since that would mean you would try to maintain balance with the two opposing sides. But I guess that stance would be the best choice to maintain the unity of a family.

It takes just a little care to show that we still love each other. Saying hi is good enough to start better relationship. Some people don't know how to quit. Knowing how to put disagreement into a win-win situation can be an answer. Consult a more knowledgeable person and make him a judge to a disagreement. However if this doesn't work, they should just put aside disagreement and enjoy this holiday happily together as a family.

Life is about learning and growing as people. This usually takes interaction and drama.Don't let it bother you. Instead, be the perfect example. Smother all of them with so much love and kindness that it's all they can see.
