wow this is one of my favorite questions.
Many times ive been asked by my friends on which is better-intel or amd.
Being a gaming freak myself, i find the performance of AMD in gaming, graphics designing and multimedia, far more superior than that of intel's.
Intel processors are targeted towards multitasking and are suitable for servers where a large amount of calculations and load handling are required with minimal errors.
If you are planning to go for graphics designing like working with maya, adobe phototshop and/or equivalent softwares then ill recommend AMD series of processors.
If you are going to learn web page designing and equivalent course then you should go for intel.

Intel is better in AMD in performance. Even though they're both pretty much the same but the only difference is the price. Plus if you're buying the type like AMD has Phantom and Intel has Celeron.

Intel is better than AMD.Intel has more advanced technology and manufacture craft than AMD.But the price of intel is higher than AMD.You can get an AMD cpu with higher performance than intel with the same price.Intel has its advantage in power while AMD in price.
