Why do People do bad things to each other?

Everything has to do with education of the minds. The right education is not there today. The basic education on right living is missing, instead, we only study and learn a few subjects which doesn't even touch our inner being, and doesn't help anywhere close to our inner growth. Then what can you expect? We are all forced and pressurized to make more money, and people just watch each other and learn how they can cheat and deceive others to increase their balance. They see what others are doing, and cheat the Government, just like the Government is cheating us. Cheating and lying in relationships, is one more issue which even I can't understand. Why on earth do they have to betray the ones they love? If they can't remain loyal, just say it. But why hurt the other person. That's also one kind of violence. But main reason behind all this is lack of spiritual education. First you need to educate the minds of children, before you take them forward with learning of math and science and geography. All these can wait, but the inner learning can never wait. Unfortunately, this education of the mind, which was there centuries back is not there anymore, and it's become so mechanical now. First the style of education and it's content must change.

yes its true that a person would not fail to crush another person if given a chance.we have these bad forces very much ingrained in us. its through our conscience, our civility , belief in God which keeps us humane.education,upbringing,cultural values play a important role in shaping up a individual

The reason people steal is because they want something they can't have. They will resort to steal it if they can't get it by legitimate means. People cheat while in a relationship is because they won't just settle for one lover. After all they are attracted to more then one person in the world. Many times they take a risk and hope they don't get caught. Doing bad things is a choice.

How about that they are selfish and also do not fully understand the consequences of their choices.

I think that the human beings are evil creatures since the very moment they're born. Other species kill to feed themselves, or attack just to protect their territory or kids. Our species find fun on hurting others, and I've seen too many examples of this. We behave because there are rules in our society and punishments that makes us behave for not to be punished, but without those rules I'm scared to think what would happen.

Hi cholo23. People do bad things to each other maybe because that person doesn't like you anymore, you had a bad fight to that person and you end up fighting. My mother and me always fighting to each other regarding things about my job, relationship and even my make-up but still we care to each other even we are fighting. You can't please everybody. Even you do good to others, still that person will do bad things to you. Specially to people that you do not know like in my situation. I have a housemate at the beginning we are ok. We started as friends. And days, weeks past by we see each other differences that we end up fighting. I can't tolerate her the way she talked to me, the way she managed the house, the way she used the bathroom, the way she used the kitchen and everything in the house it makes me really crazy. So, i decided to leave the house to her, but still i can;t escaped that easy because i and her signed the contract to the owner. I can't do anything to solved our problem, so i don't have any choice. Until now we are together in the same house, she in her room and me in my room, not talking to each other. What a terrible situation for both of us.

environmental factors that cause people to do bad things or can also be a good thing. We are in the community, where if we have the nature of hate and want to win ourselves this will cause people to do evil. No person may ever do good to us if they have a problem with life.

I feel people basically do bad things to others because they feel bad about themselves. I've found from experience that people who have self-confidence or like themselves do not do bad or negative things to others. Why would you? You would be able to discern how it would feel to you and not want to inflict pain on others. An individual with healthy emotions will be looking for ways to improve themselves.This would not mean trying to get revenge, hurt others etc. You would actively look for ways to better a relationship or friendship. I always love when a famous talk show host says "When you know better, you will do better." I believe this is true. So everything is a learning process and we all make mistakes including of course those who do bad things. But everyone can change if they choose to.

I think some people just don't.Some just don't have a heart towards others,or maybe they feel miserable in their own lives.There's alot of different reasons.I don't like cruel people that laugh at others misfortunes.People that do that don't have a heart.I don't like abusers,I really don't understand how someone could be cruel towards others.I have a heart and feel sorry for people who have misfortunes in their lives.

i dont understand what they do bad things,but when they camouflage of innocent and make me angry what they have done.because of lazyness and greed ,so they could not make effort to gain what they want,so they hope to gain this through cheating and stealing,i find that it is very sad for them to do bad thing,they dont know what they done would end up their good life and go through his life in prison one day,i think that the god is fair,this bad people would be punished by law.

hello cholo, it's a part of life i believe, more than that, it's human nature. our ancesters where half human and monkey and they started all these conflicts already. some do because it's was also done to them and gave them the impression that it's alright to hurt others as part of their wrong upbringing. we should face or avoid it at all cost. sometimes, it also reflects on what we or others did for them to do bad things to others.

Rivalry,Love,Lust,Greediness,Money would drive human race crazy and they wouldnt mine killikn though for allt hose stuff.A person who hurts and enjoys other pain must have an bad background or illiterate or he must be mentally ill and they are the ones to be pathetic .good day.

perhaps they are sociopaths? 3 to 5% of the general population are. Seems like a small percentage but I know at least 100 people. heck I have that many in my extended family. Which means I know 3 to 5 people who have no empathy for anyone. and when you have no empathy you don't care if you hurt people by lying cheating abusing or stealing.

This is like asking why is the sky blue? It is in our nature. As bad as it sounds it is true. People can deny all they want, but it is put into human nature to do bad things. Just think about it: do you know a person that never did something bad? that never hurt or harm others with their actions and words? Yes, we can be good, but we can be bad, also. Well, at least that is my opinion

I think its just the fact that people want the most out of life and sometimes that makes people do bad things in order to get ahead. Most of us will think of just ourselves at certain points and when we are in that mindset it doesn't seem as bad to steal, cheat, or lie.

In my opinion, it is normal things that we can do bad to other people because we are just only human being.
