In this occasions i can also immagine what i'm reading freely without interruptions. And what about you? do you like to read in your bed before going to sleep? I love to read before bed. Sometimes it is with one of my daughters before they go to bed and then I will still read on my own. I prefer to read books before bedtime and usually have a magazine or two with me for during the day if I have a chance to read. I am the type of person who can't sit there with nothing to do.

I read every night before I go to sleep. Sometimes I do Sudoku puzzles. I have trouble shutting down that "brain chatter" that goes on all the time and reading or puzzles are a welcome distraction. Crochet does that for me too, but I usually save that for evenings or anytime I need a break.

Yes I do. Whenever I read before I go to bed it helps me to get tired a lot easier and I've read that when you read before you go to bed your brain processes the information better because it has all that sleep period to take it in. I love reading so I try to do it whenever it feels like it would be a good time.

Whenever I got time I read books or anything special which interests me. Yes, I like to read in my bed before sleep. I feel comfort in my bed and nobody can disturb me at that time. I always read books when there is no other work to do, before going to sleep is good time for me to read books. Good day.

Sometimes i read in bed. It has been awhile. We have a tv in our room now too. So most the time I watch a little tv before I go to bed. I do like to relax in bed and read, but most the time I just take some time in the afternoon to do it. if i try to do it at night before bed i'm too tired. Or if i do, i end up getting into the book and then i don't want to stop reading. I end up staying too late and then i'm tired the next day lol.

I don't quite like doing that because usually by the time it is to go to bed I'm totally tired out. So I will just lie down and sleep. I enjoy reading but these days i only find time to do it when i'm taking public transport.

I usually reserve the my last waking hour for reading and I like to do it in bed, relaxing with my dogs under the covers and myself all warm and toasty. Sometimes I have a snack but I always have a glass of water handy. Sometimes the book is so good that I read for a couple of hours! But since I'm without a job it doesn't really matter. Thank God for libraries!

I often read in bed to help me sleep. I find that doing this it allows me to relax and then my mind is concentrating on one thing only instead of racing all over the place, so I am able to get to sleep easier. I have currently about six books next to my bed so I can swap and change as and when I want. I also read everyday on the bus ride to and from work. I make sure that I read something every single day as I think it is a way to keep your mind active and alert. I just love reading and have been an avid reader since a very early age. Guess what I've got for Christmas, yes your right, books!

I love to read before I go to sleep. Sometimes though it isn't a good idea because I get too caught up in the book and end up going to sleep way past the time I planned on. Or else I will be reading a murder mystery and I will get kind of spooked and I will be all scared to go to sleep. Usually when I am going to bed I will read a book I have read many times, that isn't that interesting because it will put me right to sleep.

Not always. Only when I need to sleep and I can't. I try to read a book to make me feel sleepy. However, it doesn't work that way all the time. Sometimes I get so caught up in the excitement of the novel that my senses are awakened, making sleep harder after I'm done reading. :-)

I used to love to read in bed but sadly the interest has interfered with my reading habits. Now when I close down my laptop at night I am too tired to do anything but sleep.

sometimes, when I can't sleep I read books to make my eyes tired. I do most of my reading in my bed not just before sleep even when I wake up waiting for my breakfast. I like to read in bed because when I get tired I can sleep on it. And if I am lying down it relax my body and my brain instantly goes on imagining what I am reading.

I like reading before I go to bed too, it actually helps me to fall asleep faster, and its peaceful and quiet. I'm like you, I can't concentrate on what I'm reading when the tv's on and there's noise all around me.

Ahmm. honestly, I'm not into reading books before sleep. I usually listen to music and there... I'm sound asleep. I don't know why, but I'm not fond with reading books. I even let my classmates read them for me. Just too lazy to read. Hehehe
