Luck - Do you believe in it or not?

I happen to believe in luck but I know many people would say that there is no such thing as luck, simply opportunity, chance, and happenstance. What do you think. Is there an element of luck to our lives or is it all predestined? Give me your opinion - I am fascinated by the topic of luck. Some say it is simply a state of mind, think you are lucky and you are. What say you?

I believe in luck, chance, and making good decisions. I also believe in kharma! I like to think there has to be some kind of checks & balance system in the universe. It's like we learned in physical science as kids: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. I don't believe that we are predestined for a certain outcome. From a theological point of view we still have free will to predicate the outcome of any situation.

Yes, I believe in luck. Some people do seem to be luckier than others. Although I also think that we all have a guardian angel that guides us and possibly assists with any luck that may come our way.
