Windows 7 in North America only sell for $39.99 for student!!!

I have not taken this advantage as i am in China.Which version of win7 is sold for 39.99?Win7 ultimate is more than 300 $ in China which is so expensive for students to afford.So i have to use pirate win7.

I was recently on microsoft's website and had not seen anything like that. There is no such discount for an operating system espically one that's been on the market for less then a year. Chances are its a scam and someone is trying to scam you by giving you something that will eventually be more trouble then its worth. The cheepest I'm seeing right now is 130 plus tax. Honestly.....

This is one of the many promotional activities done by microsoft to make their software sell. Students are the main targets of any tech company because they make up a large proportion of a population. Microsoft must have never gave them the ultimate them. it must have been starter or home edition of windows 7. or perhaps just a 30 day try out of the ultimate version

maybe its a starter edition or home edition. or perhaps a 60 day trial. but im sure there is no way Microsoft is going to win 7 ultimate for that price to students or whomsoever.
