Two years last August and other than a new printer and adding a webcam, I haven't changed anything.

My computer is one year old. I wasn't planning on buying a new computer one year ago, but my old computer suddenly broke down, and I had a find a replacement. I use my computer a lot and it would be hard for me to live without it. My old computer was a desktop and my current computer is a laptop. My puppy damaged my computer twice, I had to buy some new cables and one of the keys is missing, but aside from that it is working just fine, and I don't plan on changing anything at least not at the moment.

My laptop will be two years old on Christmas day . I have gotten a new hard drive because my old one fried, but other than that, that is the only change that I have made to it. It works well for me, I am satisfied with its performance, so I don't really need to change anything. I love my laptop just the way it is

Since I built my PC from parts purchased separately my PC has no specific age. I upgrade parts often, some are older than others, some are brand new (like my speakers). I would say an average age is 1 year old.

The actual computer I bought about ten years ago. However, I had it rebuilt in 2005, so realistically four years ago. As for how often I'll have it rebuilt, I'll keep everything in tact for as long as I'm able to. I'll milk every second that I can out of the computer. Only when its absolutely necessary is when I'll have everything changed on. That way I can spend the least money and get the most out of the computer possible. A win win situation. So judging by the past about every five to six years, depending on the wear and tear on the computer. It might be more, hopefully, or less but that seems to be the benchmark for me.

My uncle's computer is 11 years old, its a Pentium 3 and it still works great! He uses it for his office, maintaining accounts and spreadsheets. It runs windows xp and has been currently infected by viruses. Hope it stays around for some time!

I bought my computer in 2005. So it is 4 years old. Once control panel was not visible. Hence I changed the operating system. There was some loose connection regarding switching on the pc monitor. I got it repaired recently. Now keyboard has to be replaced. Otherwise my pc is ok, it serves the purpose.

My computer is about 8 years old and nothing has been changed in it for about 6 years except I did have to get a new monitor which technically isn't part of the computer itself. I'm thinking of getting some new components if I can get a good deal but nothing very soon. Our economy is so bad that I don't feel comfortable spending anything not absolutely necessary for survival.
