I have a digital camera and eight memory cards. I keep some photos on my memory cards. I print my travel photos as soon as I get back from a trip. I then put them in my travel photo albums. I put those on the top shelf of my display case. I do get round to printing some of my other photos. I should make more family photos. I would love to make a photo album of my baby girl that was born in June.
Where do you store your photos?
Are all the photos on your memory cards printed?

I too have uploaded the photos on to websites. apart from this i bought a digital picture (photo) frame which automatically downloads and uploads the photos to any given website using the internet. The digital picture frame randomly displays photos downloaded from the websites which refreshes my memories and changes my mood. great stuff. Get one Digital picture frame or give it as a gift its really great gift this christmas.

Well, we take printout of some of our pictures - may be 10 out of 15 and keep rest in our PC hard drive as well as camera's memory card. Now a days, I am a bit busy, so I have not been taking any pictures. May be during some trip, I might take some pictures.

We have hardly printed any photos since we sold the old film camera and went digital about 6 years ago. I do still have a film SLR camera, but it has not been used for years!
We store all of our photos on USB memory sticks or our computers and an external hard drive. We have some of our photos stored in online storage sites such as Photobucket and Flickr as well.
I would like to get a digital photo frame that we can set up in our living area and access these images more frequently and easier than searching through folders on the computer.

i have one digital camera, one memory card, one tripod and over 60 Gigabytes of photos all in all. everything is in my laptop so when i had it reformatted, i stored everything in the external memory. i don't know what happend but there's one folder missing.
i don't print all my photos because it's not practical. when i do, i print small sizes or the best ones. when i wanna view my photos, i just open them in my computer. i have scanned so many old photos as early as 1967 (my parents' wedding) to restore and repair them. they're now saved in my computer, too.
taking and keeping photos is so much fun!

I store most of mine in an online album (I actually have 2 that I currently use), though before I went digital I'd store my pictures in regular photo albums that are kept around the house.
Oh, and to answer your last question, no, I do not have all the photos on my memory card printed. I know, I've really slacked when it comes to that.
Happy mylotting!

I am against putting up my photos on picasa or anywhere else. I usually put photos which are not personal, and which only involve landscapes and urban cities. But I store all my photos in my CDs. :)

Well, that's a good method that you use! At the present time I only store my photos in a folder on my computer but over time this will start to take up a lot of space and I will have to think about an alternative. I suppose it will get to a stage whereby I will have to do what you do and print the photos from my pc and store them somewhere. Andrew

I keep all my photos on my hard disk...I do not keep hard copies of my photos...most of my photos are also uploaded to some social websites....that way I have multiple copies of it and safely stored....I also prefer burning photos on CD...

THis is really a very good discussion indeed to be started here. I usually store my photos in the system and then write it in a DVD and keep it for myself and that is the regular routine I follow in order to secure the photos being taken by me. I dont think so it is possible to store all our photos in memory as I dont have the number of memory cards being specified by you and all I have is a single memory card which is of 2GB capacity and hence I need to keep on transferring the photos to my system. Thanks for starting the discussion and have a great day. Cheers:

Hi maximax8! I store my photos on a portable hard drive. Most of my photos are printed as well as storing all of them on a dvd disk to serve as back-up. I scanned the older photos which were printed on film so I still had copies of them incase they will be damaged. I had photos dated as old as 1940's, it was my grandparent's pictures. I preserved them well because they are one of the priceless treasure I have. Happy holidays! Happy mylotting!
