I am just coming from the hospital after visiting a distance relative. He was still recuperating and I left him hopeful. When last have you visited someone at the hospital?( some persons enjoy visiting but I do not like it, most times it leaves me depressed, are you like this?) How does this experience cause you to feel? Are we not fortunate to be healthy and is outside with friends?

Last May my mom collapsed from very high blood sugar she was very close to being in a diabetic coma,we didnt even know she was diabetic so we didnt know what happened until she was rushed to the hospital :(
so she was the last person I visited in the Hospital..she is doing good now though,we have her blood sugar under control so now she only has to take pills instead of shots :)

Sometime last month I took my son to the hospital emergency room because his gallstones were really hurting him. They took us in to the room right away. They game him a prescription for pain. The problem is that yesterday we found out officially that the hospital wants 4151 dollars for the emergency room visit. Asking us for this amount of money is ridiculous. My son is unemployed. How could he possible pay all this bill? I am retired and barely provide enough money in retirement benefits to buy food for us each month. It would be unreasonable for them to ask me to pay for this bill.

On Saturday when I was working on a ward that has the norovirus so it left me feeling like I needed to get home and have a shower!! Prior to that was when I attended as an outpatient myself to undergo some tests. I guess I left feeling a bit apprehensive about getting the results but glad the tests were over.
Yes, each time I leave the hospital, I feel fortunate that I am not the patient.

Last month I had to go to the hospital to visit one of my close relative after a major operation. Yes hospital atmosphere leaves me very depressed like you said and it takes me at least a day to come out of it. After seeing people suffer there from pain i touch wood i'm fortunate to be healthy at the moment and pray to be the same in future.

I last visited my friend's grandma in the hospital back in June. I don't like visiting people in the hospital, too much paranoia about germs and freak accidents. But I haven't visited anyone who might be one of the unfortunate who won't live long enough to see another birthday. I imagine it'd feel very depressing if that was the last time I saw someone.
