India has sealed the India-Shrilanka series as they have won in kolkatta. It is good to see that India has won the match without the big guns yuvraj and dhoni. It was splendid performance by Gambhir(150*) and Kohli(107) which took india to a win.It was Kohli's maiden hundred and Gambhir as usual makes another hundred.
India had transformed into a good team as they are performing really well after the Worldcup debacle.

Indians had to win this series, because they knew they couldn't afford to lose which they did on purpose against the Aussies.
Somehow I find it hard to digest, that we lost all those games we nearly won against and Aussies, even though, over the years we are known have close games with him. And they always stole the show in the end.
It still doesn't convince me enough that we are really playing with true sportsmanship and there is no betting involved. The way Sangakkara dropped all the catches and missed the stumping chances, doesn't look convincing enough. A wicket keeper as good as him, shouldn't be missing those chances. He missed just about anything and everything yesterday. And, he just did nothing to stop those singles and change bowlers frequently or change fielding positions.
He was just silent and relaxed... I just couldn't believe they gave the game away so easily. There was not effort from the Lankans. Malinga surely didn't bowl well. But still, I don't know why they didn't fight to stop the Indians yesterday. There wasn't much effort.

It is a happy moment for all Indians. At present our team is doing the best and i think they will continue this winning trend. Our batting side is strong, but there lot of loopholes in bowling.Best team mean good batting, bowling and fielding. Our team hast to concentrate more on bowling and fielding area also.

ya it is true that all the 3 departments should be good specially bowling is one worry but batting is so good that it covers for the faults in bowling.
But to be in the top they really have to be good in that area also...

I think Indian team is improved a lot in the cricket game. They are proved that they are no. 1 in the test matches recent days. and as well as in the one day they are in 3rd position (not sure). My disappointment only considering their fielding. If compared with australia, south africa, India should improve on this part.
Any way congratulations to indian team for their defeat against Srilanka in Test match as well as in ODI. Twenty20 as tie up. I appreciate the coach of Indian team for all efforts taken to become India has a great team in the world.

Yeah. That is very inspiring, and should take some weight off the big boys so that they can play their games naturally. Tendulkar and Veeru both failed, but Gauti, and Kohli did splended job. .

Yaa buddy, i am very happy that India Won the series, now a days India is performing very well... Even the Indian captain Dhoni & the sixer king Yuvraj is not in the team , Indian won against Srilanka very easily.. I thought it will be bit difficult now to perform without two major players but they proved me wrong. Kholi was out standing but gambhir was mindblowing yaar. He is having a great future no doubt.

India is a great team and I hope they return with flying colours in the next world cup. Today I watched that match and it was amazing to see India chasing that big target on that great ground. It was pretty cold, foggy and windy over here in Kolkata,so you can imaging that how difficult it was to bat on that weather.Kohli was really impressive,he really deserves the MOM award.

Yes, the Indian Team is always found to make mockery of the Srilankan team in India or in Srilanka be it Test series or the one day series. It is the Indian Team always which steals the show and spotlight. It is just the T20 format which they are a little uncertain of. but now they have been able to put up consistent performances even if that means to score big runs and now is getting into a world class team. India has really played well in this series when it comes to bouncing back and winning the matches from impossible situations or when the early blows are hit. Only if India would have won the India-Austraila one day series at home, it would have been a perfect season for the Indian Team!!
