My beloved's birthday is coming soon. I don't know what shall I gift her.
Actually her family is a bit strict, indian family. Thus for her speaking to a guy itself won't be much advisable. I'm known to her parents as a very good friend of her. Thus I don't know what shall I gift her, that her parents don't doubt on our relationship.
Another thing is that, this is the first time I'm gonna buy something to her with my earning. Thus I wish the gift to be special too, that she could keep it for ever.
What shall I gift her?
Please give me a favorable response my friends. An idea that I could formulate.

Get her a piece of jewlery that is as expensive as your budget will allow! Jewelry lasts forever, and girls just love it! Its always a sign of seriousness when you buy jewelry

If I were in your shoes, I would give her something special, something unique, something worth remembering. You can perhaps give her any kind of jewelry. A ring, bracelet, or necklace would do. You can even have it personalized by having her name engraved in the jewelry. It will surely make her happy and make her feel that she is very special to you. I know that her parents may doubt her, but she can always say that she bought it from a jewelry shop or it was given to her by a friend.

Ithink the special gift doesn't mean the thing u buy and it will be expensive. It depend the cercumtances, nature of the giving person persoality and taking person personality. It can be rose which she can keep in her diary for her whole lifeor pen that when ever she write it remind your love or a wrist watch or a set of very beautiful earings

i will give this a go even if i do not know either of you nor the indian culture on what is approriate or not.
if she has the darkest chocolate coloured eyes that you have ever seen, get her the greenest emerald and gold chain that you can lay your hands on. jewelery is always the best gift and you do not have to pay a arm and a leg for it, it is actually the thought that counts and that it comes from your heart.
if that is not acceptable to you, get her a diary where she can go crazy as she like with all the fun you two will have.
do not worry, the parents will come around, eventually, no matter what culture they are.

Asking her about what she likes will not be the best solution for your problem, though i'm not saying don't find out what she likes. I think an anklet will be nice. It will be special but it wont give a hint to her parents. Im not suggesting the gold or other stuffs, maybe of personally hand-crafted by you. Tell her you made it and she will know that it is something special. hihi

Well,I feel that when you r gifting someone special(that also on a special day) it should have a personalized touch..for example,if she likes to read books you can give her nice book(& be assured that her parents are not going to raise an eyebrow..!) and moreover love notes are always easy to hide inside books..!! or may be,you can gift her cute little teddy bear(as girls generally love them..!!)...& whatever you give don't forget to hand her a beautiful greeting card.. best of luck..!
