hello guys! I am here again, and Belated merry Christmas to you and advance Happy New Year!
In our place, it is a tradition to buy our own fireworks and light it when 12:00 of the 31th arrives to welcome the new year. I buy lots of fireworks to lighten up the coming year. How about you?

Well in my area we can't really buy fireworks for New Years Eve, Just for the 4th of July. However, we usually do buy confetti poppers and things of that nature. We go outside at midnight and make a bunch of noise and a big mess of confetti and streamers get spread all over the yard. Other than that I live close to Disneyland and can see their fireworks show every night, so that's something we also look for on New Years Eve.

We don't do that here, but I think some people do. Fireworks are usually set off on the 4th of July and not New Years Eve. We watch the ball drop on New Years eve and the fireworks in the sky then, but that's all.

Hiya rjvb,
Really to tell you the truth Fireworks as such are really not allowed but of course everyone buys them and uses them.
I personally like to watch the ones on the Television if they did a live Fiesta of Fireworks here I would go and watch that instead but they donĀ“t but maybe one day they will.
Enjoy your Fireworks ans stay safe.

Hiya rjvb,
Fireworks or trakas as the kids call them here are loosed off all over the place when you least expect it and if you call the Police just for that here you are in for one big let down as they will just make little of it. So you have to learn to live with things like that.
But really I enjoy them they are only Kids the problem starts when they are letting the fireworks off with malice intended.
Fireworks are a big thing in Spain they are used in the Local Fiestas, when your Football Team wins at Weddings anything you can think of.

I never bought fireworks. My family just loves watching them I only buy fountains and other safe ones. From what i know, fireworks are meant to scare bad spirits away because they are afraid of noise so what we do is just stick with horns and other noisy stuff lol .:D

Ho ho ho rjvb26, No I do not buy fireworks for newyears eve. I rather watch them on Telly or other neighbours shooting them of. My son do buy them, I think it is dangerouse to have them. So many accidents happen with them every year. I do not encurage my son to buy them. But now he is of age so there is nothing els I can do exept not give him money to get them.

No, we go to places that let off fireworks or we will just stay home and watch them on the television. There is normal 3 to 4 different places that let off fireworks and we go to at least one of them for the holiday...

hi rjvb most fireworks are now prohibited in most cities in Orange co. ca so doubt there will be any fire works here at Gold crest on New Years eve, noisemakers but not fireworks. however since we are located here smack in the center of Little Saigon ca. they get fireworks and celebrate their own new years really loud I mean with lots of bangs. Sounds almost like a little war when they all get going.

No, sometimes we do buy them for July 4th, but not for New Years. Actually I'm not sure if they sell them here for new years...

It is actually not lawful for individual citizens to purchase or light off fireworks in the state where I live there are some people that still do it though as the next state over from ours sells them legally there and then you can just bring them back to our state, but most people do that for 4th of July and not New Years, but some people do save them and light them off on New Years Eve.

We used to buy fireworks before to welcome the new year.
But it ceased for three years already. Maybe because were afraid
somebody will get hurt. But this year we are planning to buy at least 10 pieces of fireworks so that we can welcome the new year with a bang.

Yeah, as far as I am concerned, when I was so young , I usually bought a lot of fireworks and brought them to my own room. After some years , I was a little older, I think that the fireworks have little influence on me. I just think that it really waste me a lot of time and money. So now, I just buy a few for the new year which them are the must for the new year. Happy new year , my friend.

I haven't been for the last couple years but I used to get a whole bunch and I wouldn't do anything that night than light them off. I will probably get a decent amount this year but nothing compared to what I used to get.
