It's a matter of personal taste, my all time fav sci-fi series has to be Farscape. The tech babble is kept to the minimum and it is the characters in the series that brings the show to life. What is your all time fav sci-fi?

Mine are all sci-fi/fantasy cross-overs.... Buffy the Vampire Slayer, number one, followed closely by Angel, Sliders, the X-Files (the one that is probably the closest to true sci-fi), Fringe, and the short-lived Dresden Files.

Oh it is hard to narrow down to one because I loved so many lol. Farscape, Stargate SG-1, Doctor Who, and Torchwood are my favorites. I can sit all day and watch those series. I actually have done that with Farscape when they did a marathon and ended it with a Farscape movie. I liked that two actors from Farscape, Ben Browder and Claudia Black, were on the last seasons on Stargate SG-1. Doctor Who because I have watched the show since I was little. PBS use to show reruns starting with the Fourth Doctor who was played by Tom Baker. He is my absolute favorite Doctor. I actually cannot wait to see how the new actor is going to portray the eleventh doctor since David Tennant has finished his run as the tenth doctor. I like Torchwood because Captain Jack Harkness is interesting to watch. I loved his character when he crosses over to to a Doctor Who episode. He is funny. I have been catching up on those episodes and watching Stargate SG-1 on Hulu since I didn't get to watch the last season.

Well Quantum Leap and Sliders are in my top 5 but my all time favourite Sci-Fi series has to be Star Trek. Not sure what one though as their are 5 different shows of Star Trek. Probably Voyager I'd say closely followed by The Next Generation.

Alien Nation. The movie sucked, it really did. But the series spent more time on the characters and all the interaction. It was one of the few shows where the characters didn't just keep the same old plotlines. They grew and matured in each episode. Poor Sykes matured a heck of a lot during the show! That poor guy couldn't go an episode without having to grow up a bit more, and learn how to be more human through his alien partner.

I would have to say that my favorite sci-fi drama series is Supernatural. Although I've never been a huge fan of the sci-fi drama, the lead actors are so hot that I just had to watch LOL.

Well, I can't say that I've seen some of the classic sci-fi shows, but I do have a few favorites. My all time favorite is probably Supernatural, which is currently on The CW. I also loved The X-Files, although I have to say after the sixth season, I quit watching it. The first movie was fantastic, but the second movie released a couple of years was awful. And I guess my third favorite was Angel, with David Boreanaz.

I am a huge fan of sci fi be it drama or comedy. I really love Sci fi, to say what is my all time favourite would be difficult I love the classics, in space and out of it, live action or animation, I never missed Futurama - not a drama, with aliens or without. I can't choose one there are to many. My new favourite is Eureka - no aliens lots of tech babble.

Torchwood (can't wait for the next series to see how it's changed and who they add), Stargate SG-1 (hope they keep making TV movies), and Warehouse 13.
