Do you wash all your clothes before the new year?

I washed all my clothes today. I want nothing dirty in my home for the new year. i will wash my pillows on the 31st. That and my last load from this week. I have a washer in my home so it's that easy. I just wash and hang my wet clothes up. How about your new year chores?

My husband and I should really mess with the closet and tidy up our room with all the papers we have stacked around. Laundry we do once a week, well now we've got to start doing it twice a week with us both working.
may I ask you a question? are you giftbagscom?

I prefer washing the clothes myself. And I clean my dresses almost regularly before they become very dirty. But I prefer giving the blankets, towels, pillow covers and curtains to the laundry. Its because it takes much time to wash those. I don't have a washing machine and so,you can imagine how hard it is to wash those heavy things alone.

I had never thought about doing this. I'm generally not very superstitious and this isn't one of the very few superstitions I believe in. But I suppose it would be a good idea to start the new year off with a clean slate. Meaning maybe I should clean my house on New Years Eve?
