The present year is coming to an end and a new one will soon begun. We have a lot of things that we want to have and to do not. So, we come up with a resolution. Now, I would like to ask from you what are the different things you want to have or to do not for the next year? What are the ten things you want to change for a better year?

I made a list and saved it..so I can check it off..It's more than 10 and I tend to make it longer and shorter year round (I'm a list-maker type person)
1.) Remember that I can handle anything life throws at me with the power of positive thinking.
2.) I want to get a telescope and learn some astronomy
3.) Deepen my faith
4.) I need to improve my conversational skills-I'm great at writing it, but not so great in person.
5.) I want to tone up a bit, I'm at my goal weight but I'm sort of out of shape
6.) I've gotta get more fruits and veggies in my diet.
7.) I want to revise my french and learn spanish.
8.) I want to draw out my creative skills. I'm already doing this now-knitting a scarf.
9.) I want to advance my piano/keyboard skills (I'm a beginner)
and lastly:
10) I want to spend more time on me..I'm always rushing out the door without makeup or even brushing my hair. I think first impressions certainly count and mine is a frazzled one LOL

I don't really make a New Year's resolution.it gets frustrating when you aren't able to fulfill them.I believe if you want to change something in yourself.there is no need to wait for New Year to do so.I will change my procrastinating habit.I will also discipline myself more - whether in saving money, proper eating, and exercise habits.

I would find trying to change 10 things so overwhelming that I don't think that I would even know where to start. I try to focus on three resolutions/goals every year. This year, my resolutions are first, to lose 30 lbs; second to sell or lease my home and move to Washington state and the final resolution is to write a mystery novel. I create short term goals and assess my progress every week. When I complete a short term goal, I reward myself in some way and create another one. 2009 was personally very challenging for my family and I look forward to putting all of that behind us in the coming year. Best of luck to you. I hope that you achieve all of your goals.
