Do you like milk? In what forms do you use it?
I use it plain with little sugar, in the form of yogurt, mix with any instant powders like bournvita, malt, almond mix, milk masala, and several other mixes, use it with kheer, a form of liquid dish, made out of either daal or rice, beaten rice, semolina or vermicelli and add dry fruits to it and various other things. I also mix it while kneading wheat flour for making chapatis for extra softness. I will use it for making ice cream and kulfi

Hi vath!
I like to take plain milk with some sugar and chocolate powder or bournvita in it. I also like to take curd or yogurt. I think milk is essential for us because it gives us calcium. If we do not take dairy products, we will be deprived of some essential minerals and vitamins. I have come to know that some people are allergic to milk and they suffer from lactic allergy and they just cannot talk milk in its pure form. I take less of tea or coffee. It is good to mix milk in the flour for getting soft chaptis.

Hi yugasini garu
If you do not like milk, you can take some alternatives like porridge like oats which is a very good nutrient suppliment which is tasty and healthy too. You can also add bournvita, maltova, horlicks , viva or complan to milk along with some sugar for extra taste and health and in this way i am sure you like milk. you are right, indeed yogurt is nothing but curd. Nice to hear that your wife is a good cook. May I visit your house and have a bite of her dishes especially Avakkai and Chintakkai Patchadi?

Hi dear,
I think milk is an inevitable product in our life. Those who don’t like to drink milk may definitely take tea or coffee with milk. I may take plain milk in the morning and if I am in a hurry that is my breakfast. Kids are also enjoying milk with some protein powder in it. Curd is also using but in winter the usage is less.

Hi Sree dear
Milk is the complete nutrient food especially for the children and even adults should drink one glass of milk at bed time without fail. We can use milk in various forms if we do not like to drink plain milk. We can add some bournvita or horlicks, or can be used in the form of milk shake.

I love milk and milk products a lot. Milk in any form is my favourite. Plain milk, yoghurt, ghee made out of milk cream, sweets made out of it, payasam or kheer, a liquid sweet dish made from milk and other item like vermicelli, semolina, rice etc., milk with some bewerage powders like bournvita, boost, almond powder etc., in short, any thing and everything made out of milk is my favourite. I can give my kingdom for Basundi, a sweet made out of milk cream and sugar.

I drink soy drink. I have a vegan diet and so I don't drink cow's milk. I like plain soy drink, strawberry flavor soy drink and vanilla soy drink. I like to eat vanilla flavored yogurt that is made from soy. Sometimes I mix almond flakes with it. I like to eat Swedish Grace vegan ice cream. I like fruits of the forest flavor most of all. I like to mix it with strawberries and raspberries to eat.

Hi maximax
Soy drink is one of the best drinks which supplies not only calcium but also estrogen. For ladies who attained menopause, definitely needs estrogen to keep their bones strong and from becoming brittle and face the risk of osteoarthritis

i do not like milk very much and the price is not very high to drink milk here. plus here have some problem on the milk product these years and the productors do not care the customer's health and add some hazados elements in it to spoil the quality.

Hi celebratelifeh
It is really shocking to note that the productors add some chemicals to the milk making it unfit to consume. But is pure milk not available in your place?

Milk is a very good source of calcium. I drink plain milk or in addition to any health drink. I love curds or buttermilk and is a regular item in my diet. Like you i too use milk to knead the chappathi dough which makes the chappathi soft and also tasty. Apart from making kheers and custards i make paneer from the curdled milk. I would like to share an informative message about milk - Whenever you have acidity or heart burns, drink a glass of milk and you get a great relief from the problem.
Happy mylotting.

Hi bewitched
plain milk mixed with any other health drink is too tasty and I like all varieties of such health drinks and tastes. Curd is our favourite, and buttermilk is very cooling especially during summer. We prepare spicy buttermilk by adding a paste of green pepper, fresh coriander, salt, mint leaves and a little asafoetida to the buttermilk for extra taste and medicinal properties and add a little lime juice aa optional.
Thank you very much for your info for the heartburn and acidity.Really it is a useful tip and I will note it down in my diary. Please share such informations on and off

Hello
Yes. Milk indeed has lots of calcium and proteins and it is a whole meal for the babies. For weaning food to oats to the porridge we can add it for extra taste and nutrition and taste.

hi vedha
Milk is a complete food and we can take it with either sugar or any protein rich powder. You are doing the right thing by giving milk to your children and you yourself taking it. In this way you can maintain a good healthy family.
