Who does most of the cooking in your household?

In mine, I do. I'm the eldest daughter and since my mom doesn't really enjoy cooking, the task has fallen into my hands. I do enjoy it though.
Who does it in your house? Is it the best cook? Or whoever doesn't have other things to do? For mine(I like thinking) it's both of those. :)

Both hubby and I love to cook. Right now he has more time than I do. He does more of everything around the house.

I know how to cook but the food that I'm preparing is not delicious like my mother made for us. My mother always do the cooking for us. She knows many dishes and she cooks delicious. Our relatives, neighbors and our friends love her dishes when we are inviting them if we have occasions at home.

It's my grandmother. I live with grandma, mom, and uncle. I think she does the best cook..it even owns restaurant at some point. My mom does cooking sometimes when she is free but there's always something missing when it comes to taste. As for me, my mom told me once that whatever I cook it looks like dog food... so I just make something simple for school like sandwiches and noodles. I help grandma when I can too so i can gain some experience. I've been with my boyfriend for almost 7 years and if we get married, he will be the cook of the house...that's for sure. He's way better than me :)

Before getting married, in my place my mom used to do all cooking works. When she is not well, I will do. I cant say its excellent but it will be good :))
After marriage, I started cooking and my hubby never enters into the kitchen :((. Some times I will be thinking it will be better if he learns something to cook.:)
I always telling him that for a change you should cook once in a month, but he agree for that.

I do most of the cooking since most of the time my children are not at home. They only get to go home every weekends. My husband does not know how to cook so all I have is myself, though I really enjoy cooking especially when I see my loved ones enjoy it and appreciates my efforts.

The one doing all the cooking at home will be my mom for sure.. haha =D For she's a housewife, and her hobby is cooking.. hehe ^_^
Other than that, my father do help out at times too whenever he has got off days from his work.. However, i will prefer my mom's cooking as she has more or less know our taste to food, unlike my father, whom always goes by his own taste buds.. lol =D

I've always done the cooking...for the entire 25 years I've been married. My husband has tried to cook before when I was sick and it only ended up being a terrible mess for me to clean up when I got better! My daughter and son like to cook but they don't live here anymore so it's not like I can get their help. When they lived here they cooked a little but just like with my husband, it ended up being a terrible mess for me to clean up...so I will just keep cooking, I love it so it's not a problem :D

I'm the oldest daughter, and I most of the cooking at my house, too. My mom is single and works full time, so I do most of the house work to help out.
I'm vegeterian and am very much opposed to factory farming, so I try to get my family to eat good, healthy, balanced meals. w
