If you had one free wish for the New Year - what would it be?

2009 hasn't exactly been the best year I can remember.
The economy was very tough and I know I should be grateful that both I and my husband are still employed - but it was still an extremely hard year.
We had a number of health issues in the family, including me having operations and I had a lot of heartache.
So if I'd have a free wish for 2010 I probably would need to wish for 100 extra wishes to make sure I have enough to make everything right.
However, if you'd only have 1 free wish given to you by a fairy godmother - what would you wish for?

I would wish to find a job or to make money so I can help pay the bills. I feel it is unfair to have my husband work part-time and pay the bills. We are struggling so much right now and everyday I wake up thinking that we may end up losing the house because we can not afford it. If I can make an extra 300.00 a month I know we can make things work.

Then I hope for you that it will come true. The economy hopefully will become better very soon now and there will be jobs coming up again if you are prepared to do whatever is avaiable. Please take my best wishes for the new year.

if i have one free wish and it will come true then i will ask a peace of mind from god , this gift because when a person is stable and is in peace then he never do anything wrong and is always devoted towards god and when a person is devoted toward god then he is always happy in his life and no trouble in his life and the purpose of coming on earth gets fulfill.so this is my wish and hope it gets fulfill , have a happy new year to all of you and healthy living.

I wish you all the best with this. You make a good point - with peace of mind or the right attitude nothing will feel quite as bad so this wish is a wise choice.

If I had one free wish, I would wish that all of my wishes will come true, that includes being health problem free, being able to enjoy my life everyday, being surrounded by positive people, being able to drive safely, and earning good income.

Certainly an understandable wish. It sounds like you had a hard 2009 as well. All the bet to you.
