how can i make a blog

Honestly, I agree with the first poster that blogger is the way to go. I used it for years, and it's the best free service I've found. It's easy enough to customize and build a following there. However, depending on what type of blogging you want to do, tumblr might be a better bet. What do you want to put on the blog? P.S. you don't really have to know anything about xml and rss feeds, especially not yet. That's stuff to worry about once you get your blog set up.

If you want create a blog with your own domain and hosting you can see some hosting company you can buy domain name,host your blog and also may be programs and tutorial to manage your blog too!!there are many ways... rss feed,simple syndacation, are just a web format to publish updated post,work and so on...and to read it you need a feed aggregator and subscribe on different networks...for example you have a blog and you want that people have the possibility to add to their aggregator your news updated you will distribute your feed that people can subscribe and add on their aggregator in this way when you update your blog all the people subscribed the feed can receive the contents updated!!so it works like that..
