Need help please!

Ok, I have a problem (which is ongoing) with my water.I have well water and a water softener. Well, my water smells like a rotten egg.I found out that is like sulfur gases. This has been an ongoing problem. First, we changed the filter and it helped for about 3 weeks now, it stinks again but, I cannot imagine it is the filter because you don't change them that often. I have already sanitized it with bleach and it didn't help much,Any clue what this could be now? Also, I heard of the "salt bridge" thing so I put a broomstick in and was pushing some salt around, maybe I am nt breaking the salt bridge good enough? I could really use some help..I don't even want to get in the shower anymore with that disgusting odor! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
