Hello,
I really need some advice on this one. I got a citation (parking ticket $54) on the car that I don't even own. well, my husband own wholesale car dealer and we live in Long Beach, California. then I got a mail said one car parked some where in city of Berkeley (about 7 or 8 hours from where we live and he never go there to get a car at all.) the citation said he parked somewhere on a loading zone. When I called, they said they need a proof that he was here in Long beach... however, that day he went to take picture for his brother at soccer flied and all the food and other thing his brother paid for it. Do you know or have any idea to proof to them that we dont have this car(the citation said the car is under my husband's business name). Please help

Have his brother write a statement that they were together, at what times and where. Then have it notorized. Take this to the County clerk at the traffic division of the courthouse. I'm not a lawyer, but I believe that should do the trick.
I received a similar ticket, but my car had been under a non-op for the previous 2 years! They dismissed it because the make and model listed on the ticket did not match my plate. The officer wrote the plate number wrong.
It's not that big of a deal, just more of a hassle. : )

HI,
thx ... you are absolutely right, it is a hassle. well, he own the business which buy used car only and we live in Long Beach and 8 hours to get to that place. Plus, lately he has only 2 car and they both are lexus. we never been to that place before. I will ask his brother and his soccer team to sign and stated he was there with them and took their picture as well

You are welcome. Another thing you can do is re-read the ticket notice and see what the make, model and color of the car is that is listed for that license plate. If it is different than the car with the plate listed, take a picture of the car, if you still have the car, with the license plate visible in the picture. You can use this to prove that the license plate does not belong to the car you were/are in possesion of. The danger though is if for some reason the car you have is stolen and the plate has been switched. Can't help you on that one.

Wow this one will be hard since the car is under his business name and may have been driven by someone else who has access to the cars .I cant think of anyway to prove it unless these were new cars and the speedometer would show how far these cars have been driven.I think though that in the future you may want to install GPS tracking so that you will knwo where these cars are at all time
