Have you ever encountered a ghost?

i strongly believe that ghosts exist, i am a 21 year old but when i was 5 i just moved into a new house and within the first week i saw this figure walk out the back door when i was in the garden and the door was open, and he walked all the way down to the garden gate and dissappeared. he was a black figure wearing old fashioned clothes from like the 1920's and a tall black hat but the clothes were also black no colour at all was very strange. and when it is late at night i can hear movements from the stairs like someone is walking up and down them and whispers like there is 2 people talking when parents are asleep or sometimes no one but me is in the house

I have seen a spirit standing by my bedside and looking down at me several times and the latest is about a month and a half back. The first time i saw a spirit was somewtime in 1997. I woke up after midnight suddenly and there it was, a figure in white silhoutted in the doorway. when i opened my eyes i clearly saw it but when i tried to focus on the face it very gradually vanished. After that i saw it standing very closely to my bed peering down at me but not touching me. I did not feel any fear nor did i get excited. I was only curious. Then it stopped coming. About a month and a half back i was reading a book"Conversations with a Spirit" by Dolores Cannon.I had reached a chapter where she had written about spirit guides. A wish came into my mind to see my personal spirit guide. that very night around 1.00 am i suddenly woke up and there it was standing looking down at me. I could clearly see a white robe flowing down and as i started to look at the face it gradually disappeared. I wanted to stretch my hand and touch it but it did not remain long, hardly a few seconds.So i know now that spirits do exist. I have also been troubled some years back by a poltergeist, a mischievous spirit which harassed me for a month.I took help and got rid of it but it did show me its face and it was the most dreadful and evil face i have ever seen in my life.

I have encountered a ghost many years ago in my basement. I was a teenager running down the stairs to do a load of laundray when standing between the washer and the boiler there she stood. She was dressed in all yellow dress to the floor. Her hair was the same color as the dress she was wearing. I saw her dropped the basket of clothes screaming while running up the stairs. When my parents reached me they said you are white as a ghost and I said thats because I just saw a lady downstairs that looked like a ghost my father ran down to see what it was but of course it was gone. I remember that like it was yesterday meanwhile it was 36 years ago. I truly believe in ghosts and spirits. As for Ghost Hunters they try their best to always debunk what people have said. However, there are times they have no explanation for what happened and they believe its really a spirit. To many people have seen to many things for there not to be ghosts or spirits.

Perhaps some people think there are ghosts, but these things never go into my mind, I distrust the theory of ghost, even some strange picture which pictures the shape of ghosts I think some one fabricate them. But I used to fear in the darkness lonely, I wondered how and where the ghosts jumped out and blockaded my way, if I was singing a song or thinking of happiness, I would give up thinking of ghosts.

i never encountered even one till now..but i do watch aahat like tv shows which is about ghosts..while watching i get a feel that someone is right beside me hehehehe too much scary.

I didn't see till now. But I felt it. It happened before two years. Due to my work I was going through a place which is slanting in nature. Already i ride my bicycle in a medium speed. Suddenly i felt my cycle was slowing down rather than being fast in slanting place. I felt something different. Then my cycle didnt moved for a very small time. When i realize that I kicked my cycle very fast. Then it starts moving. At the next day morning some of my friends told they also experienced same in that place. From that i am believing in ghosts

I am not sure if Ghosts are real or not I'd like to believe they're real but I have never encountered one before in my life. I'd kind of like to though, just to say I saw one or not. But I do like to watch Ghost movies and stories. I like hearing ghost stories and are always a lot of fun to listen to.I think some mysterious supernatural force is around us.If there is any scientific evidence to show the existence of Ghost,then we can believe it.But,not yet no one is providing any concrete evidence for it.It is something special in hearing Ghost stories from grandmother or grandfather in my childhood.I can never forget those days.

Well I have never encountered a ghost but them maybe I did and didnt even realise .I have been told that I need special abilities in order to see those things .I dont believe any of those movies are real.I think that the ghost effects are all due to special effects and sound effects and they play upon our need to believe in these things

Yaa, but that was only in my dreams.

One time on a ghost hunt with a friend we encountered a ghost.We were in the woods carrying walkie talkies and looking for a famed ghost in the area. The frequency of our walkie talkie kept changing and then a weird voice came over the speaker. We both quit our investigation of the paranormal that night after we changed into a clean pair of pants. We both tried to calm ourselves down by saying that someone else nearby had the same brand walkie talkies. Good joke whoever it was because we were both really scared.

Not yet. but I believe the ghost exist. waiting us to help them through our prayers.

when i was young,i heared many strange things about ghost.but i do not see any ghost.so i do not know if these things are true or false. in my opinion,sometimes i believe the ghost are exist in our life.this is just a feeling.

I haven't encountered any ghost in my entire life. I live in a condo alone and still haven't seen any. Some says that my third eye is closed. I always looking forward to see a ghost with a little fear in my mind but nothing is showing up. Maybe it is a good thing coz nothing shows up but a bad thing coz I am still believing in it :D

during my childhood, i could see a lot of ghosts in our house whenever i was awake or was sleepy, it frightened me for a long time.
