I hate getting new toothbrushes. It just doesn't feel right in my mouth. The hard bristles, the different shape, it just gives me a weird feeling. Why can't dentists make something that can last for a long time? I don't want to replace my old toothbrush. I think it will have its birthday soon. That's how long I've been using this thing. How often do you really need to replace toothbrushes?

Yuck..i dont like the taste of new tooth brushes as well. So bitter and hard, but i change them around every two month to get rid of bacteria and stuff that causes badbreath and plague ...bleh. I learned the trick that if you run your new brush under super hot water for a couple of seconds before putting on the tooth paste and brushing, the brush would be mush softer and taste less yuckiee.
I hope this helps :D

Me personally, I like new toothbrushes. The bristles are stiff and not soft. I think that when the bristles get soft, they don't clean as well. When I go to the dentist for a cleaning, they give me a new toothbrush. So I throw my old one away and use that one until it is time to go back to the dentist.
