Which household chore(s) would you rather NOT do?

That would be the ironing of clothes. I used to enjoy and do household chores before, until one day I got this mild carpal tunel syndrome. It was too painful to use my hands, and I could not do the works anymore. I could not sleep at night because of the pain in my arms and shoulders and the numbness in my fingers. The doctor said overusing my hands could worsen my CTS, so I stopped and hired somebody to do the works for me.

well the clores i would like to do without are the dishes and cleaning the bathrooms or even cleaning out litterboxes.but i like to cook myself and to clean like the livingroom or hallway even mine and my cousins bedroom, it is alright to do that but other then that if i didnt have to all the other things i would not do them lol... but i dont live alone i live with three others in the house so i am not the only one doing like the dishes or any of the other things in the house.

The only one I don't like is cleaning the bathroom. I used to dislike mopping but I found a new swiffer pad that makes mopping a breeze so I don't mind it now. [b]~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STANDING STRONG IN MY BELIEFS**[/b]

Sometimes I would rather not clean the dishes since sometimes, when many people were eating, and they just let the plates and the left-over foods on the sink, and the foods are mixing with one another, the sight really disgusts me, I can't wash plates with different food mixed in it. I think it's gross. So that's my only complaint.

When it comes to household works I feel irritating with sweeping the rooms because I am allergic to dust and this causes cold problems, also I hate washing clothes this gives me severe backpain...

I really don’t like cooking. I prefer to wash the dishes. It’s my husband who does the cooking at home or a cousin who looks after my son. My chores at home is ironing our working clothes on weekends.

I'd rather not do any of them. I have some physical challenges, and lousy vision. My husband is not that organized either, but does most of the housework. As far as we're concerned, the house is sanitary with lots and lots of clutter. hahaha We are not that hung up on housework.

Definitely the dishes. Defnitely.

Hey dolce! I have too many chores that I really don't want to do!lol Luckily for me my boyfriend loves to clean! He does the laundry, sometimes the dishes (we take turns since I cook), vacumning, cleaning the bathroom and the litter box! I hate all the chores, but I have to do some of them since he works outside the home and I don't! I hate to polish the furniture, but he insists that I do that, clean the tub and bathroom, clean the kitchen and microwave, the kitchen and bathroom floor (mop)! I do what I have to so that the apartment is as clean as possible! If it was up to me, I would really do a half azzed job! Lucky for me I have my boyfriend who is the boss in the cleaning department!

It's a toss up between dishes and dusting. i really don't like dusting course the minute you dust it already gets dusty again. The more stuff you have around the more you have to dust. All the little nick nacks around the house get dusty all the time. I definitely have to go with "Dusting"

Hi dolce vita..It's good to be back on mylot. I definitely sure missed a lot about this site. Going to your discussion, there are a lot of household chores I do not like doing. I'm a little bit relaxed and laid back so I spent most of my time lying around and enjoying doing nothing. I love to cook and eat. But if there is one chore I do not like doing at home , that would be washing the dishes. I really hate doing it and I admit that I do not have the patience in spending time scrubbing of oils and grease from the plaes and other cooking utensils. So me, being the eldest sibling in the family passes the chore to the younger ones. Talk about abuse of power.Lol..

It is good to know that I am not alone in this. Practically, I am thankful for washing machine. And if only dish washer is cheap too, then perhaps I would be thankful for that too. A vacuum cleaner is good to keep the floor clean, but I don't like the chore of emptying the vacuum bag. I have to say that I dislike most is washing, because it involves soaking, hanging the clothes to dry, collecting the dried clothes, folding, ironing and keeping them back into the cupboard. Thank goodness the machines reduce the load of work.

I love household chores. From washing garments, dish washing,cooking, vacuuming, organizing things but the lease i like is dusting and what I hate the most is cleaning the window especially when im apparently seen while cleaning. i just dont like the feeling of being watched by people outside.

If there is one household chore that I would prefer not to do that surely will be cooking. Its not that i do not like cooking, It's just that I really don't have any idea when it comes to cooking. I would really love to learn how to cook.

I can mostly do anything that needs to be done at home, be it from general cleaning of the house to washing dishes. I became the dish washer before when my parents went away for a trip. We would play cards to see who would wash dishes. Anyway, of all the chores that I can do, the one that I really don't like the most would be fixing the roof. I really have to go up there and find those holes that I have to fix. And with the condition of the roof that we have, I might as well be making more by stepping on the roof and fixing any at all. The sun would usually be hot since, that's the time when the one who would be helping enderneath can tell where the holes are. (_
