that's really good. Rating negative will lead to decrease in reputation of that person and we doesn't want to be a part of it.

If we are interested in that discussion, then we need to rate discussion. If you doesn't like discussion, will you rate it in negative.

I try to remember to do this but those little plus and minus signs just dont catch my attention very well.

But it really makes to improve the other's reputation and they will encouraged. try to keep in mind to rate discussions when ever you receive a response or whenever you responds to other discussion.

It's not necessary to rate all the discussions. But when we participated in discussion and if we like the discussion, we will rate it. But will you rate in negative, when you doesn't like the discussion.

I don't rate any negatives if I don't like the discusion I just ignore it and move to the next. I lkie to rate positive and think positive as well. Have a Good Day!

I always used to try rating discussions. If i like the discussion most, then i will rate the discussion in positive. If i doesn't like the discussion, then i will not rate in negative.

Hi Congo,
I tend to rate discussions only if they really catch my attention and I want to contribute to the person's reputation, same with comments. If I come across a discussion or response that makes me really think or even change my view on something, then I gave it a + because I really enjoy them. I don't tend to use the - because I don't usually find anything here that I really hate, but if I did I would probably use that too.
Most of the time I don't tend to rate though because I just pop in and out of things if I can answer them which is why I do relish giving ratings because it means that whatever I am rating really moved me and so is special in its own way and deserves the rating.
