The reasons for your earnings varying may be due to a number of factors.
1) The MyLot 'day' is different from yours. MyLot is in Kansas, USA and they are six hours behind GMT while you are (I believe) 4 and a half hours ahead. That means that if you are posting on or around MyLot's 'end of day', some of your posts may be accounted for in one day and some in another.
2) When a discussion which you created or to which you responded gets deleted, the earnings for that activity are removed (and redistributed). Read the Guidelines carefully and NEITHER respond to discussions which are likely to be deleted NOR post discussions which are likely to be deleted!
3) The amount that you earn 'per post' is variable and depends on many factors. The better the quality of your responses, however, the more you are likely to earn. It's worth pointing out that the only way you are going to make significant earnings from your own discussions is by making good quality and descriptive comments to peoples' responses. We are only paid for OUR participation, not for anyone else's (unless they are your referrals).

The best advice, Christinawise, can be found here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14 .
It is important to read and understand the Guidelines (and follow them).

Perhaps you need to improve the QUALITY and DESCRIPTIVENESS of your responses and comments. Just one or two lines will earn you very little. It also seems to help if you don't use 'txt' contractions - type 'you' instead of 'u', for example. It tends to make what you write more readable and shows that you have taken care. The better your responses, the more likely that you will receive positive ratings.

Hi Karthi,
It is true that in the beginning you feel much slow in your earnings. Slowly you can feel the progress in your earnings. Please make sure that your posts are qualitative one, means at least 4 plus lines. My opinion is if I spend time for mylot then I can earn but unfortunately I can’t spend much time for mylot on regular basis. Better you forget about the earnings and just enjoy the discussions. Have fun and enjoy.

We are paid according to our participation and there is no set amount 'per post'. Descriptive and good quality responses are rewarded better than brief answers with no value. The more value you can add to a discussion, the better.
We aren't allowed to discuss the earnings algorithm because it is proprietary and is also very sophisticated and complicated.
It is important to read and understand the Guidelines. It is a waste of time responding to discussions that will get deleted (and, of course, not a good thing to start discussions which will get deleted). Also read the FAQs. They explain many things that people do not understand and sometimes ask questions about. You will find many people helpful here but discussions involving questions which are already answered in the FAQs are very likely to be deleted.

I have been paid by mylot twice already. The first few months since I joined , I was very active in posting. But then, I do get bored once in a while because it takes a longer time for me to earn here. But I guess you have to be persistent since this site is legit and REALLY PAYS.
