I personally use a tablet, but there are a lot of "shortcuts" for mouse :).
There's the pen tool, like previously mentioned. Make sure the lines don't break anywhere, duplicate the layer and use paint bucket to fill the lines with colour (under one of the lineart layers). Also, there's the shape tool - use it to get the shapes down and use pen tool for the rest.

I think it's pretty easy because I always had practiced a lot. On photoshop you could always sketch the mickey with your mouse and then use the pen tool to make everything look perfect. You could also draw the mouse on some paper, scan it on the computer and then use the pen tool. The pen tool is usually not hard at all, but yeah...it took years of practice to be where I am now!

Oh, i've been drawing using the mouse for years! Haha, well it's out of necessity you see as i don't have any money yet to buy a tablet. You just need to get used to it. =)

my bf drawed some mickey mouse by photoshop. i love mickey mouse, it's cute. but he didn't draw that for me, but for his ex, coz he didn't know me that time. lol.
once i tried to draw a panda by photoshop, with my bf aside to teach me. it's hard to control the lines. quickly i became impatient and quit. hope you can finish it.

Lol :) what is the reason why do you want to draw using your mouse? Just for fun and curious? It's really hard to control the mouse and draw something. Maybe it will be much easier if you use the laptop pad. or just draw it in a sketch pad and take a picture of it.
