Lemonata I don't cry while watching movies, but I do cry when watching CARTOONS. Yes, cartoons. For some reason, they just make me very emotional. Back to movies, though. I'm sure there are some that have made me tear up, but I just don't remember :D.

Do you care of brands when you buy art supplies?

To me it depends on what I need. Some supplies need to be good quality (like coloured pencils or brushes) but for the others I don't care much. What are your thoughts?

Lemonata Well, thankfully cheap brushes can also be used for "dirty" jobs like brushing on glue or mixing paints :). I agree with the paints, too. Good paints have more pigment and that way they actually last longer.

Lemonata Yeah, I've noticed that too - cheaper brands tend to break easily. They also don't give out much pigment so they're kind of pointless to use anyway.

Lemonata I think the best way to improve is to take challenges. Try realism, try painting, try traditional art... the list goes on. There are tons of art memes on dA that are fun and help you improve. Just search "meme" as the keyword and you should have stuff to do...
