I know some people whose age are beyond 100 years. I just wonder if they would like to live for another 100 years.

I don't think I would want to live longer than 100. I'm sure people of my age have passed away and I would feel very lonely. However, if my husband and I are still alive for that long, I think I still have a purpose to live. If only we have a choice, I don't want to live longer and be alone.

Ditto, I also don't want to live alone even if I'm still young. The plain thought is just unbearably sad. I would rather live for hundreds of years in hardship with the people I love than living a bountiful life without them.

no. i have not even thought of wanting to live until i am about 80 years old. i think i'd be happy to live up to 65-70 and that would be a good average of lifespan. I think i won't have much business in this world anyway when i am old, i just might need someone to care for, me, etc. but no i don't want to be too depended and before that happens i'd be the first to wish not to live any longer, especially if i would become a burden to my family already.

In order for me to want to live beyond 100 I should have been around during the first 1000 or so years of earth's existence. Because then women hd the bodies both inside and out equivalent to someone in their 20s. After all men lived then 900 years or so But now 100 or just a little is all right since I doubt science can give me back the health I had when I was 17. Besides I doubt that they will be allowed to.

Yes! Definitely yes. Who else doesn't want to live past that age? We all want long life. But not only long life, what we want is longer and more quality life. We do not want to live 100 years old with half of it you're stuck in a wheel chair or hospital bed.

If you asked them what their secret to a long life was, I'm sure you'd find in there somewhere that by living simply, one would live longer. Each of us has a pre-determined time on this earth in order to fulfill a specific purpose. Those who are of that age may feel that their purpose in this life has not yet been accomplished.

I wouldn't like to live beyong 100 years. Well... unless I stay young, that is :D. I'd love to see the next century, but as an old-old person? It would be really hard to live like that...

No, I wouldn't want to live beyond 100. I can't imagine myself with skin so crumpled and I can't even recognise myself. If i were to live beyond 100, my organs would definitely start failing me. Then i won't be able to walk, and i have to lie in bed all day. Waiting for people to feed me etc. And i will be so bored and lonely. I would rather have a healthy and fulfilling life for say many 60 or 70 years perhaps. Perhaps my thinking would change later on? I really do admire those people who live beyond 100. I wonder what gives them the energy to carry on.
