To all people in mylot: Why are you hesitant to truly believe JESUS as CHRIST?

Some of us have had horrible childhoods, and based on what the bible says in Matthew 7:7 : Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. But based on this, being abused as a child, accepting jesus and god, and then asking them to stop the pain then, it never stopped. So based on the bible and that verse, we should be able to ask, not for selfish need, but to prevent a wrongdoing. Yet it doesn't happen. It's easy to doubt that.

those try to hide something they believe in god...humans believe in god because of ignorance and lack of knowledge..what's going on in the name of god'''believe in god..commit crimes as many as you can and then confess before the god...when we don't have proper knowledge about the universe we shouting in favour of almighty... when we don't have faith upon us then we pour all the faith upon nonsensical word "god"..who told that we can not be good person without the help and belief of god those are most antisocial elements and exploiters of human society...Einstein says, "During the youthful period of mankind's spiritual evolution human fantasy created gods in man's own image.… The idea of God in the religions taught at present is a sublimation of that old concept of the gods. … In their struggle for the ethical good, teachers of religion must have the stature to give up the doctrine of a personal God … ." church,mosque or temple all indulged in corrupt and nasty practices...these all are expressed out of personal experiences only ...the world famous jagannath temple of puri,orisaa, india having medieval orientation and witnessing most unethical behaviours of the Pujaris(priests),they show the masses that they are the agents of god but actually they do all unethical things as they know that there is no one in the name of god..religion and god belief all are useful for a section only and useless for others despite their belief in god...we have capabilities to eradicate poverty and human miseries but we would not do because they are poor so we are rich and to be prophets of fantastic notion "god"...so it's only a fantasy.....

There are several different 'truths' in this world, or rather different interpretations of 'truth'. Some people believe that Jesus Christ is not the Messiah, or reject the entire sequence of events. Why? Because there is only a book, a book written by humans. And it's just that: humans aren't perfect, and in writing this book, some people hesitate in believing this book for this reason, or perhaps for other reasons, i wouldn't know. As for myself, I am only christian in name, though I do not believe in the religion, it's probably because I gave up on the idea that i should rely on a god for everything. It's kind of an interdependency, I guess... I mean, usually when i say something like that, i get a response about being too young, thinking i'm immortal, but that's not the case, I guess it's just that I can't believe in something that I can't see, or understand.

I don't consider the existance of a book to be proof of the events it documents. there are many religions, each telling a different story, although more often it's the same story with a different setting and different names for the key characters. and this particular religion doesn't ring true to me.

I believe in multiple gods/dieties. Jesus christ is null to me because there's no proof that he ever did exist. Also there were many other people claiming to be "jesus" back then, so I don't even think about the whole JC thing. Religion makes them all arbitrary, and religion back then, and even today, was meant to control the population.

Why should we believe in something that is only a myth/legend/fairytale or what ever you want to call it. religion was made to give a false hope for those that opposed being ruled by a king. What proof is there to show that this person really existed, and please don't say "oh, well there is the bible, that's enough proof." Pfft, Like a few others said, The bible has been written, and re-written so many times that by now it's all a bunch of BS wrapped in a black binding. If I sacrifice myself on a cross to save the so called human race from pain or extinction, does that mean I can have some loser in a basement write a book about me? and we can call it "Just Cause" This book can go on about how I turn clear water yellow or how I turn food into brown logs or how I can convince people to love the thought of preying to an imaginary figure that lives in the heavens.... Every action has a reaction, and there is an answer to every question, just some answer can't be explained with current age technology and wisdom, but there will be a day when God is proven to be a false hope. And another thought, If we are all in some way decedents from Adam & Eve and are all so called brothers and sisters then WHY are there wars? starvation? slavery? and all these other horrible events? Why does this so called almighty make use fight our own brothers and sisters? why does he like to watch us shed the blood of out own brothers and sisters? WHY! They can't be answered with religion.

we all have different reason and we should not force other people to believe on things that we do not want to believe in.

Many people nowadays are to see is to believe. Many people has not read the Holy Bible nor someone has shared to them God's Words so they did not believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only Savior of the world. Be patient and pray for them that someday our God will open up their spiritual eyes. God bless for sharing and keep it up.

For me I believe Jesus Christ is the son of GOD and the name of his father is Jehovah I truly believe in that that's why my religion is Jehovah's witnesses.

I too a strong believer of god. But i used to call him with a different name Lord Ayyappa. But finally what i believe we both are praying the same. My friend is here. He also believe in god. But he used to call him Allah. God is one. One is God.
