How do you define success? Is it about how much money one has? Is it about achievements in one's field of expertize or is it about being happy?
I define success according to how a person looks at things. Success to one person may not be success at all to another person so it depends on how one looks at what success is all about.
I look at success as a fulfillment of one's dreams and at the same time feeling happy. Happiness is very important in order for me to say one is successful.

Success is how I feel when I look at my two children and grandchildren. My life's dream of being a mother left me fulfilled beyond my imagination. And I had no idea I could love someone more than my own children. But the grandchildren are right in line with the love I have for my own.
Money does not make someone successful....money can pay bills and make you possibly rich. But I have had money, and it does not make you happy. You said it...If you have happiness that is success. And happiness does not cost one red cent but it is priceless.

I define success by how I feel about myself. I have attempted several endevors with varying levels of material success. The material success I found in some ventures did not give the emotional fulfilment that I was looking for. So I did not feel like it was worth it. Other things have given me great amounts of joy and satisfaction and little to no material proof of acheivement.

That's a very good question, and one that doesn't necessarily have a right or wrong answer.
To me, being successful is alla bout fulfilling life goals, aspirations, and achieving certain things in life. Success may not necessarily be measurable by money or job status

Success is achieving all your aspirations and ambitions. Success to me is a combination of financial freedom, love, a good, well-raised family, friends, health and achievement.
In order for me to be successful, I must be self actualized.

Being a high school student, I am obviously striving for success. I do my best everyday to accomplish tasks that will take me closer to the top. But simply being at the top doesn't neccessarily make one successful. I believe that if you can set and accomplish goals, you are creating little successes that will culminate into one larger accomplishment. The adage "taking things a step at a time" couldn't be more true. If you constantly take steps forward without taking any steps back, you will find that you are not only successful in the eyes of your peers and superiors, but in your own eyes as well. Good Luck!

I agree with your assessment of success. Everyone sees it differently. Success to me is having a job you love, regardless of the money you make at it, having friends, and a happy and supportive family.
I also see success as enjoying what you're doing whether you're working, playing, or relaxing.

As far as I am concerned, success for me is just about happiness. I usually regard happiness as my success. If I have a happy family which I think it is a success. I can enjoy my family life to the fullest. I can stay with my wife who I love so much. I can play with my naughty baby. I think this is happiness. This is success.

Success means the reason we're living. It's reaching higher levels in something. It depends on hard work, time and way of thinking. You need success even when you're trying to reach complete happiness. Your dreams are coming true with success . . . So I can say it's almost everything for me.

Success is everything to me. Who wants to be a failure? There is much contentment and great joy when one finds himself successful.Although, there is a saying that we cannot ever have everything in life but we keep struggling to keep success in all aspects. Sometimes i think that the biblical saying that goes," For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul," also has to be pondered upon whenever success is talked about. Most people do not know that Success isn't just on gaining money and everything we ever need in life,it is also being successful with our relationship with people and above all with the Supreme Being- that is God.
