new year----new eating habits

i'm overweight and i need to lose the pounds and stay fit And healthy. but i find it hard to get up in the morning and run a few miles just to shed these things off... any suggestion you could give me to help me be in tip top shape?

One does not have to necessarily run in the mornings. You have the whole day and there are so many situations, for instance walking up the stairs rather than taking the lift or escalator. Walking short distances instead of driving, etc these are areas where you can use to shed some weight. You can skip your dinner and take some snack in the early part of the evening as whatever is eaten in the nights gets assimilated (no exercise!) and you tend to put on weight. See if this works.

thanks allknowing. but my problem is, i walk around half a kilometer everyday to get a ride home... but i'm in my plateau stage. i dont lose weight anymore even with that distance....

Try skippping your dinner.It worked for me. In a year I lost 20 pounds

cool.. i'll try that... hmmmm... excited to lose weight... i really feel heavy... i'm having back pains... congratulate me, allknowing... it's my third day doing laps.. i swim at least 300 meters every swim.. it's an achievement for me...
here's to a healthier 2010! happy mylotting...

i have the same problem, i need to cut all those pounds soon. i went into this crash diet when i was younger, i drink plenty of water and i only eat one meal a day. i lose 40 pounds in one month but i got sick later on. oh boy. i wish you luck on your dieting and wish me too.

we could really help each other on that. i'm only 22 but i look like i've given birth around 3-4 times.. hahaha.. i'm really huge.
