Why most of us don't take interest in studies?

It is a common observation that we people don't take interest in studies. But we are fond of playing games and watching TV. I mean why we are so much interested in entertainment? Why don't we take the more interest in studies? When we study we don't remember what we have studied yesterday, but when we watch a movie then we can describe each and every scene.

"Entertainment" is the keyword. Some people find television, music, and movies entertaining and more enjoyable to watch/learn about. Some find learning and reading more enjoyable, and they are the ones that benefit the most from their studies. Who says knowing a line from every scene isn't being smart? That shows memorization skills.

Of course "Entertaiment" is a keyword but most of the people use this keyword for music, movies, fils, TV and having fun type activities. But whenever they talk about studies they call it a boring activity. I am talking about majority of the people.

I love to learn! I'm sure the majority of people wouldn't mind learning as well, if they weren't so interested in everything else. Everyone needs to sit down and take time to expand their brain! If not, our world will crumble from the laziness and lack of motivation for anything prosperous. They'd rather sit in front of the TV.
