Do you think smoking is cool?

I started smoke at the age of 17..I started it not because to look cool, I know because I don't smoke in front of people or any friend. I started it because I was such a silent rebel then, my family problem was worst that time..So I was not happy and just decided to smoke. Just like that. Now I still smoke because I got addicted by it. My bad.

Well i hate smoking and dont understand how people get addicted knowing its harmful. Only who want to live today and not cared of tomm are the ones who smoke.

I dont think smoking is "cool".I smoke & think I am just plain dumb! I started smoking when I was 19.My boyfriend at that time had started smoking.He thought it was very"un lady like" for woman to smoke.I staarted smoking to make a deal with him.I will quit if you will.Totally back fired! I am a smoker 33years late,he is not. I do believe that so many young people do think they look cool,tough whatever.Very sad misconseption.I have four children,two smoke,one has quit & the other has never smoked.I believe the smokers began thinking they were cool.

For me smoking is not cool. But I know some of my friends way back in high school they think they are in or like what you said cool. I don't know why they think they are cool when they smoke. I know smoking will cause bad breath hahaha.

for the old person or who smoke because they are addicted to it i think but for the young people now they smoke because of many reason such as they want to be thin for the girl , for the boy they want to look cool like you said but they do not think and not scared of the result it will happen when someone smokes non-stop ,stop smoking it is good for all of us .

some people think smoking is cool b ut for me it isnt it harms you and gives you diseases and not just you but also the people around you. it could kil you in just an instant

I absolutely think smoking is so not cool! Do you know how much I hate the smell of the smoke. it sticks to your clothes and makes your breath smell bad (I know cause I have smoker friends) I mean how could smoking be cool knowing they are destroying their lungs filling it with different chemicals. I see smokers as trying-hard people to look cool and are merely addicts. Sorry to smokers out there, it's just my opinion. but seriously stop smoking in PUBLIC AREAS where not all of the people around you likes whatever you are doing.
