When i woke up this morning, i had a terrible feeling of numbness and tingling sensation in all my fingers of both hands, as well as stiffness. i tried to shake it up so as to waken up the blood circulation that helped quite a bit, but later in the day, constant tolerable pain was present. Any opinion on how to handle this?

Yeah, go to your doctor. you need to get your circulation checked. Make sure you have medical health coverage.

I have to agree that you need to see a doctor. The first questions that come to my mind is do you have a history of diabetes? Do you spend a lot time doing repetitive tasks? I hope everything goes well for you.

You should seek medical care. If you had said the pain stop during the day, I would of said probably arthritis because I have similar symptoms that diminish later during the day. It might sound like an old cliche, but it is better to be safe than be sorry.

obe212003, Honestly, I would prefer that you consult a doctor if this symptom has been persistent as it is just something beyond some circulatory problem. This numbness can also be related to the following medical conditions: * Carpal Tunnel Syndrome And Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome * Leprosy * Multiple Sclerosis * Peripheral Neuropathy * Peripheral Vascular Disease * Pinched Nerve * Radiculopathy * Raynaud's Phenomenon * Shingles * Thoracic Outlet Syndrome * Vasculitis * Blood Vessel Obstruction of Upper Extremity * Hand Trauma (Injury from Jack Hammer use, etc.) * Hyperventilation * Ulnar Nerve Entrapment So, I just would not want to second guess for your health's well being given the number of related conditions here. Take care and have a nice day.

obe212003, I hope that you are managing well since you've already consulted your doctors and personally I would recommend a generous helping of fresh cherries in your diet. Also, do read up on the Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey cure to assist your health problem. Take care and all the best.

You should do a lot of hand exercise I feel and it is better to check with up with the doctor also. I also used to get it but now since I am doing a lot of hand exercise it has reduced a lot.
