which responses gains more earnings?

I just wanted to ask my fellow mylotters because i noticed something in my earnings that when i responded the answers to my discussions it seems that my earnings increase higher but when i responded others discussion it only increase a small eamount. My question is which gains more earnings to respond back your own discussions or to respond other's discussions?

MyLot is for discussions.
When you comment on the responses on your own started discussions then, and only then, does it become a real discussion instead of just a question and answers.
We are not told which activity earns more (if indeed any does9 but this is from the FAQS:
[i]"What can I do to increase my earnings?
...generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic"[/i]

If, after you leave a comment, a user comes back and responds to your comment, and then you go back again and add some more, you will still see your earnings increase but not your number. The two are not related. Just type wherever you feel like it but always remember that a discussion is not a discussion unless you comment.

I would think, and this is just speculation, that responding to someones comment in your discussion would reward you with a greater amount because you gain money if the discussion you started shows activity and you make money when you respond to discussions/responses so responding to someone who responded to a discussion you started is both of those. I would think it would give you a better reward.

right, I think the software is designed to automatically ignore posts that are under a certain number of words. I have to believe that there is not a huge team of people that all they do is check posts to see if payment is rewarded.

it's not really that easy here because it needs a lot of effort and time to think of what you are going to discussed and think of how you can get into the topics being discussed by the members. it is not merely discussing but you have to see to it that the discussions are powerful and with content.

I'm not sure on this one, but I believe it really isn't whether you respond in your discussion or someone else that matters. I think you get the same credit for either one of them. It's just that your total response count does not go up when you responed to another comment with in your discussion, and only goes up when you respond to another's discussion. It may seem like your payment increases higher when you respond to others in your discussion because your overall discussion total is not going up, but you are getting credit for it.

yes i also observed that only the credit amount goes up when i reply to the responses of my own discussion but it did not increase the overall number of my discussions. therefore i realized that in order to increase both you have to simultaneously respond to your own discussion to increase credit and respond to other discussions to increase overall rating.

i noticed that because i made a test that for this day i only respond to the discussions of my own discussions and i observed that i gained more on that while on the next day i only answered discussions form other discussions but the points was not that higher as compared to my first activity. but maybe it also depends on the content of the responds and the number of responses i made.
