Now that there is a new social tab on Helium under our names, we can add friends and/or followers? What's the difference?

Hi AnythingArt, okay I think I figured this out. If I request you as a "friend" on Helium, it automatically sends a "follow" request as well. Once you are my friend, you also follow me, and vise versa. They are using this in much the same way as favourite writer, except it is reciprocal. I mean, you could put you on my favourite writer list, but that does not automatically put me on your favourite writer list (darn you!, why not?). I haven't quite figured out the logistics or the purpose of this feature yet. The resume part you spoke of in another post is because they are trying to add more "professional" badges to categories that don't currently have them, but want to ensure they have enough writers in the category. For example, I work in Human Resources, so I would put that on my resume. If there were more in the same profession, they would consider adding a badge. I have sleuthed out several Helium writers on Mylot, but haven't found you yet. Some people, myself included, do not make this an easy job! Part of it, of course, is the desire to remain anonymous since many of us use our real names on Helium and user names on Mylot, which is a personal choice.

Well, I found her, but I don't know what to do with her. LOL I can't seem to add her as a friend or follow her. I think my helium account is broken. LOL That's interesting about the badges. When I looked at the resume thing it looked like it was an additional biography type page that Helium added.

Hi Malamar, I am trying to be found, and MommaJ finally did it. I write under my real name on Helium and Associated Content: Christine Zibas. So if you want to link up and be friends, that's great. How do I find you? I have figured out how to work the friends and followers stuff yet. Then I discovered that there is another category...favorites. So there are all these different (and somewhat confusing) lists of people. Sheesh.
