Looks vs personality

So whats e most important factor to look for in a partner? looks or personality? it is a true blessing to be well endowed in both departments..to be able to look stunning and yet have a personality that shines. Now if these two factors were to be placed on a scale which will have a greater weightage? A pretty vase with not much substance or a plain jane with a heart of gold? whats ur choice?

For me that's no question - personality is much more important. Of course it would be great to have both, but you usually can't have everything in life. And I rather am with a man with a good personality who I enjoy being with, rather than someone I like looking at. I rather buy a pretty picture for that!

true i agree with you to a certain extent but most human beings are programmed in such a way that we are very visual creatures which explains why our first impressions are often based on exterior image a person portrays rather than e inner personality of that person..thus perhaps sometimes looks do matter to some?!

I would opt for the second. But actually beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder!!
