Does having a gift make me crazy?

1. I believe I do have a gift in which I don't tell people. It's not that I don't want to, but i'm not sure if it actually qualifies as a "gift." Ever since I was little, I could always see with my eyes closed if I tried hard enough. Not exactly 'See', but I can feel the presence of objects around me. If I am placed in a pitch black house, not knowing where anything is, I would succesfully be able to get from room to room, and know what is infront of, or behind me, just by being able to feel the presence of that object. I could get from room to room, without every bumping, or running into a wall, doorway, table, couch, counter, anything. I would easily be able to tell you what room I am in, in the house as well. I have also been able to tell when a TV is on, and when a TV is off, with no sound coming from the Television. It's like I can feel the waves coming off of the TV, even if the TV is in another part of the house. My cousins and I used to have a game system, that when we shut the game system off, the TV would go blank, but not turn completly off. You couldn't hear sound immiting from the TV either. I remember before leaving the house one night, my grandmother asked us if we turned everything off. I replyed with, "No." as my cousins replied with yes. I knew the upstairs TV was still on, even though I hadn't been in the room with my other cousins at the time they were playing. Until this day, I can still feel the aura, or presence, of objects around me. I can't say i've SEEN a ghost, I do know that I saw something in the woods one time, that was out of the ordinary, and I couldn't explain it. It looked as if two shadow legs were standing behind a trunk, however there was no Torso. I had a friend name Cetta in middle school. Her mother was a tarrot reader, and cetta had claimed to see ghost. Her mother also backed her up on this. I don't think that people who claim to see ghost are crazy. I don't think you're crazy. I'm jealous of your ability, but very fond of my own (;

You're just fine, and I have a web site that you should find really interesting, because people with your gift like to hang out with other people with similar gifts where they are going to be understood. 1) Do you have special gifts that others find weird or make them think you are crazy? I've been told I have the gift of gab. Does that count? But seriously, I don't have a gift per say, but animals respond to me when they don't respond to other people. For example, my hubby won't get out of the car if we drive into someone's driveway and they have a dog loose in the yard. Particularly if they are looking menacing. It doesn't bother me, and I always get out and go and knock on their door. I talk to the dog, and I am not afraid, because I mean no ill will, and I think they know that, and that is why I have never been bitten or mauled or attacked by one. The husband thinks I am taking my life in my hands, but I am of the firm belief that animals can sense your motives if they are good or bad. So, you could say that I understand animals and I think they trust me, because I have also trained horses. I also don't think I could live without having some animals around me. They keep me centred somehow. 2) Do you see ghosts? Not regularly to be a real pain. But I DID see one once, I am very certain of that. Particularly since they moved the furniture around on us, too. We came home to find everything moved around, so it kinda confirmed what I saw. But that ghost left when I left that guy, so I think he had that ghost attached to him. He was not the nicest fellow either, so I am glad to be rid of him and his upset ghosts. 3) Do you know anyone that see ghosts? Not really, but I know you, so I guess yes, now, eh? 4) What do you think of people that claim to be able to see ghosts? Do you think they are crazy? Naw! Why would I? We are all different individuals with different abilities, so that is what makes the world an interesting place. I actually think it is pretty cool. 5)Are you jealous of their abilities or thankful that you dont have them? Maybe a little , but I watch Ghost Whisperer and if my life was always being turned upside down like that, the novelty would probably wear off pretty quick. I don't think you're crazy at all,no really I'm sure there are ghosts around everywere but you just have to be a special kind of person to see them. I never have but I did see a weird shadow in my old house once that my ex at the time also saw. We tried to figure out what made that shadow along the wall but couldn't. We both thought of some spirit. So I'm sure you're not crazy at all

Crazy is relative and I could only answer that if we had met and I deemed you to regularly engage in crazy behavior. I don't know if your abilities are "real" or imagined and it's not that important in my world. I know what I think and feel about my own gifts of perception and that's enough for me.

Hi wonttakelong! I don't think you are crazy. I have friends who see ghosts. I think they are just normal people. It's just that they can do something not everyone can. I just don't like it whenever I am with them and they would tell me someone is behind you. They will even describe to me what they can see. I don't appreciate it because it scares the hell out of me. That's why I made it clear to them not to tell me whatever they see whenever I am with them. I believe I have this gift which I acquired from my mom. I usually knew when something bad is about to happen. I don't like the feeling though. It feels bad to know that anytime something bad to me, to my friends or to any of my family will happen.

Hi, wonttakelong. I don't think that you are crazy at all. In fact, I find what you have just shared with us all, quite interesting. I have a gift of being able to sense when something bad may happen. I can tell this about myself when something happens when I can feel it. I have seen spirits of ghosts. I have talked to many people that say that they have seen ghosts. I don't think that they are crazy at all. I am not jealous of their capabilities at all. I am still trying to make sense of what has happened to me in my life. It is very creepy because I can't seem to come up with a logical answer at all. I hope that someday I will find all of it out.

I've been to see mediums AND clairvoyants (realising that the two are very different) and one medium was amazing. Her phone rang in the middle of her communicating with the spirit world but the weird thing was, the cord on it was cut half-way down. Now, if it was a trick, how on earth did she do it? In actual fact, she came out with some very accurate stuff about me, she was ace! Another clairvoyant I saw read playing cards and told me I was going to work in the Police Station. Adamant she was. It turns out I did work at the Police Station a few months down the line and one day I thought, "You sly old devil, you were right" lol. On the way out of this particular reading she suddenly grabbed my wrist tightly, which was amazing for a lady so frail...looked into my eyes with her piercing grey ones and said, "Don't ever forget your Grandad, he is watching you at ALL TIMES!" then smiled sweetly at me. She was called Mrs Tunstall and a subsequent clairvoyant (Andrew) who I've seen since said she was a legend. Certainly was! I do not think you are crazy and I reckon you would love it where my Mum lives...her street runs adjacent to a cemetery and some weird sh*t has gone on in her house!
