The disturbing trend of terrorism has become a world-wide problem, and seems to be gaining more strength as time goes on. Will we ever see the end of terrorism?

I don't think so because everyone has different believe but If we refuse to surrender and we keep fighting them, terrorism will be reduced to a small insignificant problem. If we surrender, and quit fighting, they will see us as weak and attack even more. It is our choice. Only strength and a severe whipping can defeat a bully.

In the long-run, peace may be the only true way to defeat terrorism.

Hopefully terrorism will stop...one thing is definitely sure though, its gonna take some time before it ends. As long as people don't understand each other and they don't give way, its never gonna end.

Cell Phones as News Hounds... -
Today's pocket yappers aka cell phones do not deliver the news edited for sensibilities. Sometimes, it's not edited at all. Sometimes, it's from 'folks on the street' in the case of Twitter. Cell phone snaps get to mainstream photographic crap from the front lines that would horrify Pros of Yesterday.
We will probably not see the end of Terrorism, but is it getting worse? I doubt it. * Does it seem to be getting worse? Yes. * The reason we seem to be hearing and seeing more of it is media bombardment. The media I speak of is Internet, radio, TV, smart phones, Bluetooth, I am probably missing some yappy gadget in someone's purse...or pocket. * Fifty years ago, the same number of incidents costing the same number of lives does not cause the same amount of flap world wide for the simple reason that the incident isn't all over the big blue marble twice one hour after the last kaboom hits. Big kabooms were going on. World War 1, World War 11 were busy blasting away at folks, various nasties were taking potshots, the KKK were very busy in the American South. * Fifty years ago, if you wanted the news, you got TV news, the Newspaper, and maybe the radio that gave you once daily updates on the daily mayhem. Then, the daily mayhem was edited carefully for the sensibilities of the time. * Today's pocket yappers however, do not deliver the news edited for sensibilities. Sometimes, it's not edited at all. Sometimes, it's from 'folks on the street' in the case of Twitter. Cell phone snaps get to mainstream photographic crap from the front lines that would horrify Pros of Yesterday. * Be careful though, if you are a despot dictator though. There's a pocket yapper near you.
