What could be the best gift for a person who is into photography?

As for me the best gift for a person who is into photography would be a brand new lens. You may want to do your inquiry on what type of lens that she lacks and the get her those. It may probably be a bit expensive because there are lenses that costs more than the body but i am sure it's worth it.

The more your friend is into her hobby, the harder it is to choose am appropriate gift. Many photo accessories are expensive, most have to be tailored to the brand (and sometimes even the model) camera she uses. Ask her or get a gift certificate on a Photo store, or consider a photography book or a subscription to a photography magazine.

You pretty much have to ask them what they need. They probably have their eye on something, like a macro lens they cannot afford, or a fancy aluminum tripod. Spending money on inferior equipment or equipment that is not as good as they have already is just a waste. Maybe a subscription for online storage like SmugMug or a subscription to a photograpy magazine. Buying advanced camera equipment can get expensive so be prepared to spend some cash if you go that route. Even programs like PhotoShop are expensive.

That depends on how much you want to spend of course, there's everything from microfibre cloths (for cleaning the lenses) to tripods to new lenses. It's maybe easier if you know what kind of camera she has, you could maybe get her a new memory card or something like that.

A Tripod or lens that he/she doesn't have yet would be great. Photo printer or an external hard drive will do for backing up his/her photos. :D

I absolutely suggest to give her a brand new digital camera. If, for instance that she already had a DSLR camera, you could just give her a lens. For other scenario, i suggest you give her a Photoshop program for editing photo, or other program you find it useful for her as a photographer.

i suggest you that present her the laptop..which is very comfortable to her that she can modify and store her beautiful pictures along with her wherever she go.of course it is a good hobby..i like to keep the pictures of cute little babies...
