I wake up in the morning at 5:45 am in the morning as I have to leave for the office at 6:45 am. My work starts at 7:30 am. I go to sleep at 12:00 am. My scedule is really very hectic. I do not get much to sleep except on Saturdays and Sundays when I sleep in the afternoon as well.
I is good to wake up early morning and do some exercise, but I am unable to do that.
What about you guys? At what time do you wake up in the morning? How is your daily routine? Do you get ample tiem to sleep? Do you exercise daily?

I wake up at 6:30 am every morning in order to get my children ready for school. I hate mornings as I'm a night owl but I have to get up that early for them. I don't work outside the home presently but when I did I still got up at that time in order to get ready for work. I never go to bed before midnight as I am always busy doing something. I love sleeping in on the weekends and usually sleep in until 9 or 10 am on Saturday and Sunday.
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

So your schedule is something like mine with getting up early and sleeping late in night. I also hate getting up early and I sleep for long hours on Saturday and Sunday. But you know, I have noticed one thing, at whatever time you get up (especially in winters, you feel the same laziness. You wake up at 10 or 5, the laziness will be the same. So I dont mind getting up early much.

I wake up at 7:00 A.M. to go in for work at 8:00 A.M. My morning routine is to get purtied up, then check email, then start car (it's cold here and my car is old so it needs a warmup), and lastly I pack my lunch before heading out the door. Luckily it's only a 15minute drive because I don't think I could go back to waking up at 6:00 A.M. like I had to in school. I do get enough sleep (in bed by 10 P.M.) so I am thankful for that as well.

Its great that you have a better routine as compared to me and you get good amount of sleep as well. I really miss a good sleep. In my schooldays and before I had my baby, I used to get a better sleep, but the situations have changed now and so are the sleeping timings. But I dont feel so tired or sleepy whole day. I am quite fresh whole day.

I hink that the first factor is applicable to me. I have more or less become accostomed to less sleep. I do not take much caffiene. Its just 2-3 cups a day, that too tea. I usually dont have coffee which has more caffiene. Ealier I used to have good amount of sleep, but after I had my baby, my schedule has become quite hectic and cannot sleep much.

You've probably become accustomed to less sleep. Or you drink a lot of caffeine. So which is it? ;)

I wake up so early everyday that it makes me so tired every time I get to the office. I wake up at 4 am in order to take a bath and then do online stuff before leaving at 6am to go to work. I am usually needed at the office by 7 in the morning. I do my daily exercise walking around 15 to 20 minutes to the office.

its good that you do exercise daily. at what time do you return back from the office and what time do you go to bed? Your routine is also like me or is it better or worse. I think its worse as you say that you get tired. I dont feel much tired, its just that I dont get enough sleep which I manage on the weekends.

Wow, that is very hectic and unhealthy. I would collapse if I were you. I try to go to sleep no later than 9 or 10 pm, and the lates tI wake up is 7:20 am. (The earliest is 7 am) Then, I get ready to drop my kids off to school, then my husband to work, and then it is just me and my toddler daughter. I take her to the YMCA so she can get out more. From there, I go do any errands I have in the day. I get back home at 3 to get my daughters from the bus stop, go home and cook, and then head back out to pick up my husband. But on somedays, I let my husband do the work=)
I try to exercise everyday by walking a mile a day, but that normally goes to waste since I drink and eat a lot=/ So there isn't much difference in our health, I see...

Ya therez not much difference in our health, but your work is healthier than mine. I see that you are more active and do a lot of stuff on daily basis. thats really good. With me, my work is sitting on a chair in front of the pc for 8 hours. Coming back home and play with my kid, do some mylotting and mails and all. My husband come late, so I watch serials with my maid. Then atlast is the dinner time and finally to bed. Rest you all know...............!

it used to happen with me before my marriage. On sunday, when I wanted to sleep for long hours, my family people used to make so much noise that I had to wake up. But the time was not so early, it used to be 7:00 or 8:00 am, which was still a usual tme to wake up. But still, I wanted to sleep for some more time always.
At what time do you need to wake up for your routine work?

I go to bed at midnight or later, wake up at six, go to sleep, then wake up around seven and try my very best to stay awake. If I do fall asleep, I can easily sleep until noon or later. I have five alarms altogether. Loud as sh*t. My daily routine is to.. get through the day. Hehe. I can't plan my days. I mean.. I do schoolwork in the mornings until about noon, but otherwise nothing is planned or scheduled. I've tried many times to exercise daily, or even weekly, but I just can't do it! It's not that I'm lazy. I'm actually quite active through the day, kind of. I'm going to have to blame it on my ADHD. DX

Its good that you aren't lazy, but I am too lazy. I want to do some exercise always, but I cannot become so active to that. I always say to myself when I stand on the weighing machine, that its high time now, I will exercise. but when the day comes to exercise, I say, I'll do it tomorrow, promise, I'll do it tomorrow, and days pass on and on.....

I get up at 7:15am. I have to be at school at 8:15, when lessons begin, so I have less than a hour to set myself ready for a school day. I go to bed usually at 11-11:30pm. I think I get quite enough sleep, but I could always sleep for longer. That's what I do on weekend.

What I come to know from thius discussion is that most of the people go to sleep in the night at the same time. Only difference is that some get up early and some get up late. Those who get up late have enough sleep and those who get up early do not have ample sleep. But its good that all of us manage with sleeps on the weekends. Thanks for the response!

My days are gone when I used to have nothing to do always. I used to enjoy those days. Nowadays, I have so many resposibilities that I really dont get time to be free. I have my office, home and a small daughter to take care of. I miss those days, so you enjoy these days, dont get bored of them! Thanks!

so your timings are very similar to my timings. My shift also starts at 7:30 am and I have to leave at 6:45 to 7:00 am. On holidays, I also wake up at 8 to 9 'o clock in the morning. But schedule is hectic as my husband come late in night, so have to be awake till he comes back home.

I sleep at around 11 or 12. me and my husband, both r working, I go early and he comes late. So I have this routine. He comes at around 11 or 10:30 and then we have dinner, have a little chat and then go to sleep with a sweet lil daughter. It takes me sometime to go to sleep as well. So that is another problem!

you have good timings that your college starts at 8:30 and you can thus get up late. You also take lesser time in getting ready. For me, my shift is earlier and also I take more time in getting ready. If I can save some time there, I can have more sleep. I'll try to reduce time in getting ready to atleast by 15 mins so that I can now wake up at 6:00 'o clock.

Its good that you are able to manage to reach at your work at 7:00 o clock after getting up at 6:00. its nearly impossible for me to manage that. I take quite a long to get ready. I also have a small baby who wakes up with me sometimes, so I have give some time to her as well before going for my work. I have to prepare milk for her, feed her and make her sleep again. So i always keep some spare time so that I dont have to rush.

It depends on my classes. On exam weeks i wake up daily at 4am, it's tiring but I have to do so in order to succeed. Don't worry, you're not alone :)

When I used to have my exams, I used to go to bed at 12:30 to 1:00 in the night and get up at 2:30 to 3:00 am. I used to then sleep in the afternoon for 2 hours. I used to barely sleep for 5 hours. I used to study a lot in my exams, coz I never used to study in normal days....lol. But I was still fine with it, so that might be the reason that I can manage short sleep these days.

I wake up at around 10 or 11 in the morning. i can even go on up until 1-2 in the afternoon. that is because i sleep really really late (or make that early in the morning!). i am more active and alive in the evening so I do my work during that time. daytime for me is very stressful because of noises and too much light. When i wake up early lunch, I try to exercise (treadmill) first before jumping on the breakfast taable. Then i watch a lot of TV or go online just to have fun. :D

i usually wake up 6:30 in the morning except if i have something to do that day.
I don't get out of bed even if I'm awake if it is still dark... I'm just afraid.
And i don't wake up at noon time or past 9am because there i have a tendency to experience migraine.

I usually wake up early like 6:00am if there was school but then i would wake up at 8:00am if it was the weekend and browse the internet.
It's good to excercise in the morining because it keeps your metabolism up but sometimes i feel too lazy and just stay home and relax.
